here is a quick update for everyone who has been waiting to see some of the bloodwork done by testers at Designer Supplements.

As some of you may know we had some of our testers get blood work done while using some of the new products in hopes to provide some insight as to how are bodies react while using these compounds.

Methyl-14ADDiol has been tested alone as well as being stacked with M1T and M5AA. M14ADDiol seems to be a very mild compound as thought. There was no significant rise in liver enzyme values while being used at a dose of 30mgs per day, this helps suggest it does not have a strong influence on liver values. When 20mgs M14ADDiol is stacked with 10mgs M1T per day, these were some of the values from one of our testers. Also suggesting that by lowering the overall amount of Methyl compounds but stacking 2 together you can get a great effect but without much stress on the liver.

protein, total 7.7
albumin 4.8
globulin, calculated 2.9
a/g ratio 1.7
bilirubin, total 0.5
bilirubin, direct 0.1
alkaline phosphatase 44
ast 44 normal (2-50)
alt 75 normal (2-60)

The results were the almost exactly the same when using 30mgs M14ADDiol and 20mgs M5AA 1 hour preworkout on workout days only.

ast 42 normal (2-50)
alt 70 normal (2-60)

Methyl-14ADDiol seems to be an excellent choice for first time users of 17a-methyl ph’s or for more experienced users who know their bodies well enough to be able to stack 2 compounds together. Methyl-14ADDiol can be used for both bulking as well as dieting depending what type of diet and exercise program is being followed.

Here is the baseline as well as the first couple days after 3mgs Methyl Dien™ use. I will try to update the blood work as it comes in.

Baseline: AST 49, ALT 51; LDH 213; Cholesterol 103; HDL
42.2; ALP 76; GGT 17; TBIL 0.9; DBIL 0.2; ALB 4.0; Testosterone 629.56;
Cortisol 7.43; Progesterone 0.48; Prolactin 9.06; PSA 0.44; LH 19.13;
Estradiol 69.03; FSH 4.71

Day 2 while ON: AST 54; ALT 60; LDH 204; Cholesterol 104; HDL 47.4; ALP
68; GGT 21; TBIL 1.2; DBIL 0.2; ALB 4.0; Testosterone 800.12; Cortisol
17.16; Progesterone 0.85; Prolactin 10.14; PSA 0.42; Estradiol 118.91;
LH 16.79; FSH 5.63

Another tester had his blood done as well, the results were similar to those above, most will need to watch Cholesterol instead of liver values. Although Cholesterol levels usually return to normal post cycle.

This is great information. Keep us informed.
I'll add some things that people should know if they plan on running their own bloodwork. And you really should do this if you plan to use methylated substances. First of all, bloodtesting does not have to be expensive. I got mine tested for $42 including the blood draw, this gave a comprehensive metabolic profile (CMP) and I also added the test for GGT. GGT is the main indicator of long-term liver problems, so do not leave this one out. If your GGT is high, it might not even be related to the orals, but taking orals would then be much much more risky for you. AST and ALT are also useful indicators, and these were included in the CMP. Another thing which should be stressed is that your activity before the blood-draw can modify the numbers significantly. Working out hard, naturally, will raise the indicators of liver damage. So prior to the blood drawing, take a few days off, including no alcohol, and you have to "fast" for at least 12 hours before the test. Don't eat before bed, then skip breakfast, no problem. If you are super-cheap, you can still get just your GGT tested for a measly $22. But realistically, you should consider forking up the extra $20 for the CMP at least once or twice. We're talking about your long-term health here, so at the very least have some bloodwork done after your current oral cycle. Now, as to where you can get bloodwork done so cheaply, I don't want to be accused of pimping some health service, so PM me if interested. There are a variety of places which use the LabOne service to have a local clinic draw your blood and then they email you the results. I looked around and found the cheapest one. The point is that it is very affordable, and long-term health consequences are not cool.

Any idea on why test levels would be higher on day 2? Perhaps two days is not long enough to see a drop in natural test levels?

Its possible, there may be sometime of feedback from a raise or fall in estrogen as well. Since it is all connected one way or another.

Sldgehmr asked me to forward this post. It is an update to the previous test posted above.
QUOTE (Sldgehmr @ Apr 4 2004, 05:17 PM)
Here is some blood work updates on the MD.

Methyl Dien  after being increased to 5mgs per day

  "Pumps in the gym are nice, also my arms feel pumped almost 24/7.  AST 84; ALT 77;    LDH 234; GGT 13; ALP 65; ALB 3.9; Cholesterol 98; HDL 31.2; Testosterone 93.68; LH 3.00; Progesterone 0.12; Prolactin 11.48;
FSH 1.07; Cortisol 5.57; Estradiol 18.96

Liver enzymes are up slightly but so is dosing, cholesterol and HDL are down.  Slight suppression if there is such a thing as "slight".  Still not half as bad as M1T."

I would just like everyone to take notice of the progesterone levels.
Then I asked the following: "Also maybe include the TBIL and DBIL if you have it available." And another asked: "What are the effects/dangers of a lower than normal progesterone level?"

The following was his reply:
QUOTE (Sldgehmr @ Apr 4 2004, 09:37 PM)
the reason I high lighted the progesterone is that there was some concern by other people posting how high of an affinity Methyl Dien should have an dthat everyone should watch out for gyno due to progesterone activity.

This is one of those cases where values printed in books are not always the same effect in the real world or with everyone, at 5mgs per day and this is about day 15, his progesterone is very low which is good, no gyno.

Also just to point point out,  that GGT is at a pretty low 13. GGT should be the prime indicator of liver damage. AST and ALT, can give an approximation of how the liver is functioning, but it can shoot up from muscle damage (like after a work out). However GGT should be used to distinguish whether it is liver damage we are looking at, or simply muscle fibers being broken down. In this case his liver looks like it is fine.

B5150, Ill see if he can get those done and if you can post this over at Mikes for me that would be great. Of course there is no problem posting these on either board as long as Par and everyone dont have a problem.

Ill be checking out a few other things in the upcoming weeks so Ill keep everyone posted.

What SDF said plus the fact that the doctors can't tell anyone sh** about what you say to him, unless you tell him you are going to commit a violent crime such as assault or murder.
