As stated.

I'm curious what everyone's opinions are of the training protocol that was designed for the test of the black star labs product sytenhance. I have begun this today.

Found here...

i'm not testing the product, but i liked the program he put together so i'm giving it a go as well...

i started last week -- it's a quick workout and it's easy to progress from exercise to exercise. i am more accustomed to high volume training so this is a change for me. i've had to use higher poundage earlier in the set progression which is to be expected.

i've also added in cardio at least 3x a week...

...i haven't done front squats since high school...

It's good to hear that I'm not the only one attempting this split. Thanks for the reply burns and I look forward to hearing your feedback on the program as you are a few more weeks into it.

Just finished my first workout and I'm not quite sure how 80 reps of hanging leg raises is gonna increase the size of my arms...lol ph34r.gif

It'll definitely succeed in making it difficult to get outta bed in the morning. blink.gif

Overall a good workout and easy to move from exercise to exercise.

Actually, I think it is a great program, although I think the jumps in volume should be larger, especially since you are "on" (kinda). But, if you want total str. and hypertrophy gains, this is a good program IMHO.

i agree...

i will be starting a M1,4ADD/4AD cycle soon and will up the volume for some of the exercises. as i stated above, i've traditionally trained in a higher volume fashion and am interested to see how my body responds.

fletch, where are you applying the product? is this your first experience with androgens?

You just have to be carefull as tendons tend not to progress at the same rate as muscle tissues, especially when using androgens. I would be selective with the amount of volume that you add. Something like a good pump up set or something of that nature if you need it when done. Fletcher had the idea in the alterations he made. I guess I could have made a drug and drug free version. I would leave the first week as is and then adjust the second week as you see fit. Everyone is different and personal adjustments are what make for the best improvements.

The 3rd week is a kicker with the extra upper body workout added, so you might be suprised. Other than that, glad to see some people on the boards give it at try.

My dosage is as follows.....

For first 30 days
1 pump per arm twice daily + 1 pump on chest = 5 pumps daily

For last 15 days
1 pump per arm twice daily = 4 pumps daily

This is my first time. (so be gentle) wink.gif

you'll be fine...just moisturize, and keep your fingers out of your eyes/mouth ohmy.gif

i also had a nasty reaction to the latex gloves i was using to apply the dermal last winter...

anyways, ill be using orals this time and will be starting them late next week.

stretching post-wo seems to be really helpful with this program, i use that wierd stretching machine thing ~ it's great for hams, quads and back.

I'm not using gloves to apply and haven't had any problems. I wash my hands immediately after applying and the one time I didn't I found that this stuff could make for a hella aftershave product. laugh.gif

I've started stretching now since my shoulders and chest are always incredibly tight pwo. I know what machine you're referring to and unfortunately we don't have any of them at my gym.

Had a pleasant measurement increase in the arms and chest after just one week and noticeable strength gains. Although difficult to notice in my pics, my forearms are incredibly full and my arms now make every T-shirt I wear tight in the sleeves. Either I'm doin somethin right or it's a good product in conjunction with this particular training program.

well i just finished week 4 and am 2 weeks from completing the program.

i ran M1T the last two weeks ~ it was insane. i didnt get ridiculous increases in strength but it definitely hardened me up and i packed on some LBM.

the isometric exercises in this program (especially those hanging leg raises) have done wonders for me. the first week of this program i could hardly get through the crunches/leg raises on mondays. now, i rip off the leg raises and actually go to full failure on the crunches.

i've always been a big fan of military BB and DB work. the first three weeks of this program are completely void of these exercises but i have definitely added size and definition to my shoulders. last week i was tossing around 100's for 12 on the military DB.

its been a great 4 weeks and i am looking forward to finishing strong.

fletch, once this is done ~ what's next?!

Hey guys,
I'm doing a 4 week superone+ cycle in a weeks time and have been searching around for a good volume routine.
Is there any way I could make this program work for my 4 week cycle?
I was thinking of doing the following:
leave week 1 as it is
go straight to week 3
week 4
week 6

I'd be skipping weeks 2 and 5 because of wanting a little more volume.
I was also wondering if I could implement barbell rows, take off seated row and add free weight t-bar rows and also put in dumbbell shoulder presses as early as week 2.

thx

I'm sure Zepp would agree that the program is definitely easy to modify based on availability of exercises. Just as long as the substituted exercises still fall under the original exercises' category. (bicep compound, legs compound, back auxillary, etc.)

I would be careful with skipping directly to week 3 so quickly because your muscles will need some time to develop with your joints/tendons. Making a jump this high in volume is a good chance for injury so proper warmup, stretching, cooldown, etc. is essential as preventative maintenance.

Since I am just starting week 4 today, I will begin looking for a new training split next week sometime. I really like the idea of training the core and the extremities separately or doing upper/lower/rest/repeat as my next split. If I go with a similar routine to this and periodize back up in weight, I will be sure to lower the volume as I will no longer be "enhanced".

I have recently picked up another canister of ICE for my inworkout shake with some dextrose. The shake currently consists of 20g ICE and 40g dextrose.

I also picked up a container of Ultra Peptides as I am phasing out my protein bars in my daily mealplan.

Here are the current measurements at the end of Week 3 of the Sytenhance Trial.
