It's speculated that yohimbe as an herb acts as an MAOI, but isolated
yohimbine doesn't. If so, it's probably one of the other alkaloids (akin to the differences between ephedrine and
synephrine, two ephedra alkaloids).
If that's the case, I would think that there shouldn't be any negative food interactions with
yohimbine HCl, but one might need to be careful with yohimbe. If you're taking it for fatloss, I really don't see much of a reason to take yohimbe instead of
yohimbine in the first place. As for anything at all beyond this, I don't know much else, but I'm sure David (shpongled) would be able to tell you.
