[MANID]17[/MANID] Hi,

Anyone know when the Sesathin caps are going to be available? I'm trying all sorts of methods to try to disguise this stuff, but it's becoming increasingly difficult. Can't wait to have it in capsule form....

According to Par the betas should be available in 2 weeks or so.

Will they be equally as effective as the liquid suppossedly is?

Posted by: dsade Sep 6 2004, 10:11 PM
Yes. They contain the Sesathin™ oil, so they are just as effective. The only difference is that you will not have to taste it and you will be able to carry around capsules, rather than a big bottle/syringe.

I know the liquid will still be offered as the most economical, but I am no longer privy to any pricing info at Avant. I'm just as curious as everyone else. :-)

I was not willing to wait on the caps but now I noticed that you're also out of the liquid version as well.
I do have an interesting question and that is why no one has addressed the hepatoprotective properties of Sesathin? Wouldn't this be a good addition while on a cycle, as good as or better than milk thistle and NAC?
I was on the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition site at AJCN.org and they had an abstract there that showed the benefits of sesamin on mice livers, how it reduced inflammation and toxicity levels after administration of toxins.

I will be starting a M1T and 4AD cycle in October and have stocked up on liver health supps, i.e., milk thistle and NAC, but it seems to me that Sesathin would also be a great product for the liver health and protection. Not to mention its fat reducing properties as I will also be starting a low carb/keto diet at the same time. Looks like it could increase ketone levels possibly as well. Not that that increases fat loss but makes using ketostix a little more satifying when you can turn it purple.

Has anyone also looked at SAMe for hepatic protection?

From my understanding, mouse studies are not exactly applicable to humans. It is something that has to be considered when citing studies in support of a product.

That's true. But I remember an onslaught of Myostatin Inhibitors a few years ago due to some Dorian Yates looking mice given some myostatin blockers. I just had a problem with the sea algae in those products. I don't know how that connection was made.
My point is I've seen much thinner claims of certain products that make it to the shelves at GNC due to mice studies. But the free market being what it is, those products that are crap seem to be filtered out by lack of sales.

I've never understood the NO connections as well. If NO levels being elevated caused increased muscle mass, wouldn't users of Viagra experience that as an added side effect? I've seen on certain Discovery Channel programs that Viagra was developed for greater heart circulation for elderly men. The accidental side effect of greater circulation in other pumping muscles was just an added bonus.
And a lucrative one at that.

And if increased NO levels lead to increased muscle mass, how come professional bodybuilders aren't taking Viagra by the tubloads as they do other ergogenic aids?

Just a thought.

The Sesathin caps are still a beta over at Avant, which means they are not available for wholesale purchase.

Once the finals are released, we will be one of the first to have them available.
