 I'm trying a new stack and I'm curious if there are any thoughts on this, namely in the area of canceling out, or diminishing effects. While EC I know is quite synergistic, I'm curious about how the 5-HTP and the Theanine might work with or against. I know I've seen people taking Green Tea with the EC stack but wasn't sure what the dosages of Theanine were. Any thoughts? (Appologies if this information is on the boards already and I just missed it.)

 Thanks for the quick reply! As for number one, I had read that Y-Hcl might blunt the effects of the EC stack, specifically the Ephedrine part. Now I may have completely read it wrong. Have you seen good effects with the Y-Hcl? I've heard lots of good things about it, but I'm not terribly familiar. AS for number two, thanks for the links, I had read the first, but not the second. Good info in both. I reread the first and funny enough I did miss something. It seems that when Caffine and Theanine are together the Theanine antagonizes the Caffine. As the article said, if there's 8x the amount of Theanine to Caffine, the effects of the caffine are completely null... hmmm... I may drop this from the stack for that one, or use it in small ammounts to "take the edge" off the initial jitters... but I'm thinking it may be might be better as an off cycle supplement or as needed basis within the cycle of the current Stack. -Sotaku

 Wow, looks like the 5-HTP market is flooded. I think the supply might be slightly higher than the demand. I'm guessing you didn't create this post to be harassed by all of these 5-HTP pimps. So, let's get back to your actual post. Why were you taking 5-HTP and theanine to begin with? Were you using the 5-HTP for it's appetite suppressing effects? In general, I'm not sold on 5-HTP being a good supplement for general use since it's been shown to increase prolactin levels. And what was the purpose of the theanine? I could see this being useful before bed, but not throughout the day. In general, I don't think either of these would be good for use while cutting (unless taken before bed to help you sleep after taking stimulants all day). As for the comment about Yohimbine HCL, it will definitely make the stack more powerful, as it prevents the re-uptake of adrenaline. This can also be dangerous and should be approached cautiously. I've had palpitations and chest pains before when taking ECY.
