| [PRODUCT]1739[/PRODUCT] After a few weeks of taking this one a day in the morning, sometimes 2x a day I can say something is happening. DO NOT take stimulants of any kind with this. Tea maybe, a little bit. Something happened to me the other night and I thought maybe I had woke up from dying or something. I've had that experiene where you wake up and you cant breathe (asthma attack, most happen during REM sleep) then the next thing I know is opening my eyes and seeing EMT's starting at me pulling a mask off my face. I went into a 12+ hour coma may 2008 and woke up in the ICU. At 5 years old I ate 8 hash brownies. Ran around in a circle then passed out for long time. I had my heart stop from mixing the wrong OTC cold medicines (the culprits were ketoprofin or alieve). Nothing suttle with me in the are of health scares. Well I dont know what happened. I do have a bit of MVP so I get chest pains, flutters, palpation. But other than slightly low blood sugar I "woke" up. I felt like I died and came back to life. I had taken nothing other than a energy drink earlyer. Rockstar juiced, its crap I know with sucralose and acesulfame k. I dont know what happened but my heart was pounding like crazy. Something about the beta-receptors I think. The rest of my body was weak and tired. But my heart was pounding hard but not too fast. I used to have a resting rate of aboaut 115-120bpm. Old adrenalin junkie. Its like I never came down from the drugs they gave me from being hospitalized with a respriatory issue. Prednisone, you name it. All the speed analogues they use for asthma. Prednisone was the worst. I tell you, prednisone is like the worst damn thing you could ever put in your body. That was 1989 and my teeth are still falling out. But i've always been WIRED. Not ADD. Well this was around 90bpm but it was pounding hard. No chest pain no tingling. I chalk this up as a side effect. Interesting though. Clenbuterol is supposed to reverse the negative effects of Albuterol, which I took. Can you say sudden cardiac death? I knew you could. But it still downregulates the beta-receptors? What? Its a beta-agonist? Weird. So this stuff re-activates the beta-receptors. Well no duh. Do NOT mess around people. Sudden cardiac death. Chinese call that "yin collapse". Where you just drop dead right on the spot. Take a break from stimulants while on this stuff. |

| different cycles of Dicana at 6 caps a day WITH stims. Never experienced any negative sides or anything along those lines. If all that happened to you, I would guess there's something else going on in your life. Dicana gets very positive reviews everywhere I've seen and I researched it quite a bit before trying it myself. |

that review sort of scared me. I don't think i'll be purchasing this supplement anytime soon. Or could it be his past, that is the more important factor in this story? Still crazy stuff!  |

| I have a similar story. I was one week into my bottle of Dicana and decided to have a cup of coffee regular.....not decaf. HUGE mistake. I woke up just as TMG describes, like I had just been released from death's grip. Cold sweat and a strange metalic taste in my mouth. By the time I came to my senses I realized that during my blackout I had slaughtered a wild deer and had been nestling inside its carcass for God knows how long. Anyway, long story short I polished off the one of the deer's hind legs and ran naked to nearest town for help. The Latvians call this "vilkacis". True story. |

| Taking drugs that alters the thyroid, (like diacana) which controls the metabolism of every cell in your body, probably isnt the best choice to make. |

Technically, it is a "drug". Read #3... "A substance other than food intended to affect the structure or function of the body" Dicana is a substance.... fact. Dicana is intended to alter the function of the thyroid. Analogs of thyroid hormone are in dicana. These analogs affect the thyroid function, as in, make it more "active" which in turn can lead to increased metabolism. |

| I agree... drug. Kind of like how ephedra, though an herb, contains the drug ephedrine HCL. I don't like the word "drug". Too much negative connotation implied with it. I'll just stick with calling this stuff "chemicals"... basically everything comes down to chemicals. |

| If that's the standard, then l-ornithine and l-arginine would have to be considered drugs as well. They've been shown in studies to alter the secretion of GH. It's a matter of semantics, I guess but I don't like to use the d word that loosely since it would cause many substances to be considered drugs when they don't really have that connotation. |

According to the second definition in that quote "(2) : a substance intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease", all sorts of things would apply, including herbs, aminos, homeopathic remedies, bach flower remedies, etc. That's my point...it's too broad a definition. |

| Im reading this post over again... The definition of "drug" has vast meanings. Basically anything that you put into your body could technically be a "drug".  besides cosmetic stuff like ass implants or somemithing. |
