Kilo and Gaspari have theirs already, however I'm waiting on Sledge's tabs. Will Bulk Nutrition/lFast400 carry Sledge's M-Dien tabs?

Well I have to say the moderators on this board are some of the most knowledgable people I have seen in this area. I am 38 and just getting back into shape after being out of shape for too many years. I have been working out daily for about 3 months and started on a low carb diet to lose fat fast. The first month I lost 20 lbs mostly bodyfat and moved to high protien and moderate carbs. I am a member at a gym that did my bf% and they didn't use calipers. The measured and gave me a bf% of 25%. I think I am less based on the fact that I only have a gut left and carry some fat still in my face and chin. That is where I need help is taking that fat out now because that is always my trouble area. I will list my stats below to help with advice. I was doing 30 minutes cardio until this week and am now focussing more on weights. My reasoning is the added muscle will do more to burn fat then cardio. I am in martial arts and want to remain limber as I put on mass. I am currently taking creatine powder and adding Pinnacle NOX2. I am taking 250 mg of ephederine in a time release for my sinuses but found when I quit I lost stamina big time so I went back on it. I am taking glutamine and multivitamins as well as a lipotronic 3X a day. I am wanting to go on S1 or Methyl-Dien and am looking for advice. I want to build in a way that I can move my bf% down as I build lean muscle mass. I also have elevated liver enzymes (hereditary), I dont drink or do drugs and my dr says the elevated liver enzymes are caused by a fatty liver. This was after having my liver biopsied. I know there is a risk in elevating the enzymes but I feel the risk is offset by the reduction in bf%. Let the advice rip:) Age: 38 Height 6'1" Weight 246 Large frame BF% 25% According to 24 hour fitness, don't know whether it is accurate The weight charts say max weight on me should be 192 but I don't see how. I would have to lose a lot of muscle mass to get there.

If they didn't use calipers the BF% is definitely wrong. They didn't know what the hell they were doing. Get some calipers, they sell them on this site. Calipers are the most economical and accurate way of measuring bf percentage. Hydrostatic weighing is the most accurate, but also very expensive. I think you should ask you doctor before taking anything methylated or even ph/ps products because of your elevated liver. I just don't think it would be safe for you. You should really ask your doctor.

Quite likely, yes, although there is no exact date set that I know of. |

I know what my Doctor will say. I know what he would say without elevated liver enzymes. I am just looking for a legal way to get gains without utterly destroying my liver or anything else in the process. I don't plan on long term use of any ph/ps just to tone up and then just maintain on weight lifting. I don't feel like most Dr's will give me a straight answer with the politics surrounding suppliments on the bleeding edge like these. As far as the calipers go that is what i thought. I know the military uses measurments to measure bf% but they don't really care how accurate they are. Anytime in the past where I did get my bf% it has been done with calipers. Thanks for the advice, I know taking anything processed through the liver is a risk with elevated enzymes but so is taking tylenol. I just want to be aware of the risks and make a judgement based on that. I will have liver study done soon after my first round and determine if it is safe to continue. I just don't want to miss the opportunity by having the PH/PS suppliments moved to being illegal to sell or take. I am not the kind that will cross the black line once a sunstance is outlawed. I will take ephederine because it is still for sell OTC and I don't have a problem with it.

Randy, Based on the info you provided, and if you're hell bent on using androgens, definitely go with a transdermal like S1+. For a first, or second cycle, this compound will prove to give you excellent gains, and is much, much easier on your liver then a methlylated substance. If the doc said you have a fatty liver, then really be careful. Do that bloodwork immediately after cycle to see the effects. Be cool, be careful, and best of luck.

Thanks for the advice. I was leaning towards the S1+. By the way at home my nickname is Kenpo. When I made an order from work it assigned me Randy19280. I would have just used the name I already setup if I had known. I plan on using milk thistle while I am on this as well so hopefully I can counter many of the negative effects it may have on me. I am optomistic though that I can bring the remaining fat down to have a positive effect on my liver at the same time I may be stressing it. My research tells me even pure steroids are not nearly as toxic as many have made them out to be unless taken in very high doses.

I agree with Jersey's advice, start with S1+. Stay away from the methyls for now and if you do take one eventually get your liver values checked very often. A supplement you should definitely be taking is acetyl-L-carnitine, which will both help from a body comp perspective and also with the fatty liver.
