Ive been eating these things alot lately and they are pretty good. Just about half cup of cottage cheese and a lil sweetened fruit to mix with. Good snack for whenever, does have some sugar tho so be aware some of you anal nutritionists. Bout 20g of protein tho, good for people who cant eat straight cottage cheese. My favorties are blueberry, apple, and peach. U can usually pick up 10 for $10.

Those things are totally great. Each one of them tastes bomb and they're cheap like you said. My fridge used to be stocked with them. I started making my own with fat free cottage cheese and sugar free canned fruit.

I've been eating these for a few years now. They're great for the small in between breakfast/lunch meal, especially at work. Some of the sugar carbs listed are for the lactose in the cheese.
Got to agree on blueberry and pineapple. tongue.gif

...sugar free canned fruit.

Show me where you find this treasure.

^^^if im thinking of the same thing delmonte makes them they are listed as "No Sugar Added" they still contain the natural sugars in the fruit though,

Posted by: AdamGrossman Jul 31 2008, 09:35 PM
Yeah that's what I meant. They're sweetened with Splenda so the only sugar in them is the fructose from the fruit.

yea where do you find fruit and cottage cheese without making you're own.

Posted by: fidoslim Aug 20 2008, 10:28 PM
still wondering where you can find those.

Dude look in the cottage cheese aisle at your local grocer. They're not a hidden treasure or anything.

Just follow the chicks in the store. Sooner or later they'll stop at the cottage cheese section.

Glad I could help!

I know it sounds disgusting but try it.

It can't be any worse than what your wife cooks.

I used to mix peanut butter and cottage cheese with some whey for a nighttime shake. That was pretty good stuff.

What kind of peanut butter do you use?

He uses skippy, the chunky kind. And the secret is to blend it. put the tuna in the blender (undrained) and then dump 3 spoons of PB in there. I throw in some fish oil caps for good measure.

It drinks very easilly and i bring it with me to the gym. i like to let some dribble down my shirt while i drink it from my thermos.

Thatd be an instant turnon if I saw someone at the gym drippling PB and tuna down their shirt...lolz

You must have to be a manly man to drink it with the juice.
