id get a prius. my dad drives one and he loves it, gets close to 50mpg too. i know its not the "coolest" car but there comes a point in time when u stop worrying about how fast or how cool your car is. i know youre young and youre really into nice cars but i think you should get something like a prius which would be an investment with the way gas prices are steadily climbing. worry about a nice car later in life when you are more financially stable. i already learned from my mistakes.....

How much does a Prius go for?

Doesn't it take years for you to recoup the extra cost with the better gas mileage?

True if your current car gets 12mpg.

But for those that drive normal cars that get 20-30mpg it's probably not worth it.

Well that was a point made, is it worth buying one paying the hefty price tag, or buy an older used car that still gets 30+

It all comes down to money anyway. Do you really think the guy that owns a Hummer H2 is affected by the price of gas going up a couple $ a gallon?

I highly doubt the extra $200 a month is going to send him to the poorhouse.

Just cause one has a nice car, doesnt mean they can afford it. Some people put their expenses on the limit buying a nice car...so the gas could be a killer.

I can't beleive you are having trouble choosing between those cars
WRX hands down
turbo, AWD, awesome styling, 4 door, roomy, and it has some serious BALLS

I don't know personally, but I have heard subaru's are a reliable vehicle
the only other car there somewhat comparable wuld be the V-DUB
but... common
those repairs bills are going to eat you alive eventually

2004 Nissan Sentra SER spec -v, they get good gas milage they don't look bad, they are pretty peppy and you can mod the heck out of them and they are pretty cheap to buy, like between $6,000-12,000.

My prelude recently broke down so i bought a bicycle to travel back and fourth to school and the gym until my car gets fixed. But the Nissan did cross my mind, but I don't want a car payment.

HANDLEBARS

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. —Thomas Jefferson, 1802

My wife drives a 1995 Infinity J30 with 103,000 miles on that bitch. I have a 2001 Ford Expedition XLT. Both run like friggin' tops, but hers gets about 25mpg while mine gets around 13mpg. Literally, the only thing I like about mine is that it's paid for. Other than that, it blows to pay $100 to fill it up every week.

so your paying $5,200 a year for gas. Lets say you get a hybrid and get 3x the mpg so your only paying $1,800 a year. So your saving about $3,400 a year. Worth shelling the money out for a new hybrid? maybe not, but it makes you think.

I don't know if it'd be worth having a car payment of $450ish a month just to save a few $ on gas. Also, hybrids are expensive compared to plain ole gas guzzlers. Once this fukker wears out though, my next car will prolly be a hybrid. Of course, be then, hopefully Obama will have our cars running on bacteria excriment.

I see. I don't have to deal with snow down here in Bammer. We have a heavy snow storm about once every 15 years. Whenever snow is predicted, everyone runs to the grocery store and buys milk and bread and shit and we end up getting like half an inch, which melts by the afternoon. I couldn't imagine having to deal with that shit every year.

The Chevy Cobalt SS is supercharged, its nice but IMO its a girls car. Its kinda like the new cavalier to me.

RX8 is a no go for me

Maybe a Hybird, idk perhaps i havent really looked into them to tell you the truth

WRX.......not to much diff from a SRT just the AWD

R32 is out of my price range, altho its a badass ride

I dont think the SI is girly, or the SRT. I like there new bodystyles, plus they're both real solid on gas.

Im goin from a 8cyl to 4cyl so things are gna be much btr....

Keep the suggestions/opinions coming

BRING ROIDS BACK!
