| this is probably a stupid question and has probably been posted thousands of times. but i was just wondering if theres any way i can increase my chances of getting taller. i didnt know where i should post this.. because im not necessarily lookin for a supps but im just wondering what i need to do that could possibly help me out. im 17 and right around 5'9" i think. my dad is about 5'6". he was a late bloomer and grew throughout college. and my mom is probably 5'4".. (i guess im pretty lucky to have gotten to where i am now) anyway, im just curious to see what you guys have to say. |

| roids are you serious? haha praying might do the trick. but seriously roids.. when i used to run track i stayed injured due to hip flexor strains, hamstring pulls, and other ligament and muscle problems. they said it could be because of growing. and they told me to stretch.. but i never did. now that ive quit track i havent worked on my flexability.. but if all i need to do is stretch ill do it 24/7 |

| There's no way to tell how tall you'll be until you're done growing. You're only 17 so you've got more years of growing ahead of you. If you're already taller than your dad then I'd say you beat your parent's genetics and will continue to get taller. Also, don't do HGH. |

| my sister was prescribed humatrope in like 4th grade. and she took it until 8th.. 6 injections a week. what do you guys think the dosage would be for taking it that long? and what would you guys recomend dosing it at if you were gonna be taking it for an extended period of time.. and how long before you start seeing height gains? ive done tons of research and i couldnt find anything but forums and tests done on people.. and none it gave me a straight up answer.. im not planning on taking im just curious.. |

Agreed at his age and 5'9", he should make at least 5'10" before he stops growing, and thats not bad at all. Also agreed with the other poster who talked about beating his parent's genetics so far. Any how....they say shorter BBers usually look a lot more impressive, than taller ones with longer builds. A silver lining there at least.
You'll do fine. Could be worse, you could've ended up one of those lil' 5'3" dudes or something. Being 5'10" or so in the end, considering your parent's heights, not bad at all. |
