I been lookin for a summer job and haven't had alot of luck, but a local LA Fitness offered me a job as a PT as long as i get certified first... got a list of diff certs but looking for the quickest, easiest, and cheapest one out of this list

ACE
ACSM
AFAA
IFPA
ISSA
NASM
NCCPT
NFPT
NPTI
NESTA
PFIT
NCSF

APEX

WCIS

if anybody has any input or experiences i'd appreciate it

Go with ISSA, its about 5 bills and accredited. its all online....the only thing you would need to do is get your CPR certification, and you can do that with the fire dept. or red cross. I enrolled for shits and giggles. doing it at my own pace. be good to have as a side gig for extra cash....and banging flabby MILFS ph34r.gif

from my knowledge, NASM is the preferred cert.

yeah i was told any cert on that list would be fine... i'm just tryin to get it as quickly as possible.... i'v studied and taken classes for the NSCA but thats big chedder and they only have tests like 3 times per year

Certain gyms or clubs only hire people with a certain cert. You'd probly want to find out which ones first. I guess some are better than others.

yeah the list i posted is a list of all the certs that LA Fitness accepts... I'm looking into ACE b/c it's pretty cheap


Did any of you guys buy the study materials? or did you just use online resources and shit?

ISSA, or APEX, would be the quickest, but aren't worth the paper they are printed on. The two best certs are ACSM, and NSCA, for any of the ACSM tests you need a bachelors degree. For the NSCA, you need a degree for the CSCS
