Except for the poor people, everypne has central air, the poor have evaporative coolers which work well in June. But in July and August, it get's more humid, so they don't work as well. Sometimes in August it can be 110+ with 40%+, thats when things really suck. One time in August we had a week straight of 113+ and over 60% humidity. The heat index was over 125 degrees.

no doubt 113 is hot has hell... but i'v been to AZ several times during the summer and i'd still take that kinda heat over some of the shit we get in chicago
mid 90's with 100% humidity.... uh! that shit is fuckin death!
