Of course, being interviewed by an MSNBC journalist isn't exactly friendly turf for a republican president. If this same guy had been interviewing Barack Hussein Obama or Hillary Clinton, it would have appeared more like a friendly exchange than a series of grilling questions. Eitherway though, W. did a terrible job.

wow. i was watching an interview of manson a couple of weeks back on MSNBC and i swear to God, he sounds exactly like him. Same accent, same sort of insane rambling. thats really disturbing. he must of done an incredible amount of Blow back in the day. i wouldnt be surprised if he blazed some base as well. he's fuckin out there.

do you ever wonder how it would have unfolded if we never went overseas and rolled over after 9/11 like we did with some of the other attacks when clinton was in office, ex: uss cole.

just curious how many other terrorist attempts would have been made in the usa if we just said "well hold them accountable" instead of taking initative.

Do you ever wonder what might have happened if we'd put a fraction as much effort in fighting Al Quaeda and the Taliban, which was partnered with them in Afghanistan (afterall, they are the ones responsible for all the terrorist attacks committed against the USA) rather than embarking on Bush's experiment in nation building in Iraq?

The Taliban might not be building schools and controlling parts of the Afghanistan, our international reputation might not be in the shitter, Osama Bin Laden and Mullah Omar (remember them?) might be dead or at Gitmo, oil might not be $140/barrel, one half trillion $ might have been spent here at home or not at all. While Iraq would still be a dictatorship, it wouldn't be the hell on earth that it is today with people afraid to leave their homes after dark. The bizzare irony, that most people find hard to comprehend, in western societies is that Iraq was actually far better off under Saddam's rule than it is today.

there's been some major Eff ups but my point is that it was a better move to stop rollling over and being a puss nation.

efficency has gone cliff diving for sure but i just dont understand some of the people that say we should have just nursed our wounds and not taken initative.

That would have been a real dem thing to do. the problem along the way is all the coresponding decisions....not the one to push back.

you're absolutely right in saying we should have stuck to the main issue and eliminated the threat then come home. if they cant make it on their own then tough. i just agree with not being a back turning weakling with our tail between our legs like we've done before.

He makes no sense whatsoever, yet he sounds so sure and confident in what he's saying. That must have been what made him seem like a messiah to all those young kids. Do you see any parallels with the current election season?
