Does anyone use a 3x5 method rather than a 5x5? Im going to start doing these for all compound exercises, but don't want to overtrain by doing 5 sets for every exercise

When I'm doing Oly stuff, I typically do 3 or fewer reps.

I think people jump on the overtraining bitch excuse too much. Just stick to 5x5, it's fine.

Look at professional athletes, they train much harder than all of us, and they are fine.

A lot of pros also have money for best recovery methods, supps, and steroids you should be able to tell if you are overtraining. Overtraining will hinder results and increase injury probability. Just be careful and focus more on intensity than 5 sets for exercises.
