Hey guys, quick question. I've always taken a weight gainer post workout b/c of the calories, carbohydrates, protein, etc. My friends have been telling me that I'm not supposed to take a weight gainer post workout b/c it's a concentrate protein, not an isolate. I know that concentrates take longer to digest than isolates, but does this matter? I thought you were supposed to have so many calories, protein, carbs, immediately after your workout. I've always done this and had great success, but I don't want to be cheating myself. Should I be taking an isolate post workout for faster absorbtion?

Thanks

Keep fats out of PWO shake slows absorption. Concentrate is fine just takes 10 to 20 mins longer to absorb and has a lower protein percentage by weight. Malto and dextrose is also needed
