I saw tangible results during my last cut. I was doing lots of cardio, lifting, and only taking 100mg, and I GAINED muscle, and LOST fat at the same time, during the first week. After the first week, I mostly just lost fat, with a little muscle gain, but that's awesome, because I was on a calorie deficit (2300-2100 calories @ ~180lbs).
If you want to gain incredible amounts of muscle fast, then yes you have to megadose, but if all you want to do is hold on to lean mass while in a calorie deficit, then lower doses are all that's necessary. I think this is true for almost any hormonal product. I believe higher doses are only necessary if you want to gain muscle. During a cut, I think higher doses are a waste, because gaining muscle is not likely due to the fact that you're not taking in enough calories. You might
see a little, but nothing incredible. I didn't
see any noticeable difference between 100mg and 200mg of Winadrol while on a cut.
I think the best aspect of using a hormonal product while on a cut is the ability to do more cardio. This will allow for more fat being burned, and almost eliminate the possibility of overtraining. If you do decide to do more cardio with something dry like epi or fura, just be sure to start joint sups (G-C-MSM) at LEAST 2 weeks before (I start 4 weeks before, same time as my
liver sups).
Play around with the dosing. 10mg might be too low for epi/
havoc. 20mg might work better. All depends on the individual. I think 30-40mg would be a waste of money though. I think any time you take a hormonal product, you should start low, and work your way up, unless you KNOW you have to take incredible doses to
see results (like if you've done several cycles already, and HAVE to take higher doses). There is a point of diminishing return, where your body just can't use any more. Why take more if you can get results with a lower dose?
