I read an article in Men's Health about Whey and Casein protein. A study showed much better results for lifters taking Whey Protein and Casein protein as opposed to lifters taking only Whey. Apparently adding Casein protein to your supplements will lead to significantly better gains in muscle mass. Its too bad all these tubs of proteins and sups are so damn expensive or I would take all of them.

So I went online and ordered a tub of Casein protein. I'm already taking Whey (every lifter should). Anybody take Casein protein with Whey?...and if so is it worht it???

I also read that mixing Whey and Casein in one shake is not a good idea because of Casein's slow digestive properties. Casein turns into a gell like substance in the stomach and it slows the digestion of the Whey.

Other than that, any opinions on ZMA???...I ordered that stuff too for a lil pick me up...studies show a 30% test increase...

Studies have proven that mixing whey and casein for your post-workout shake produces better results. Instead of buying a tub of Casein and a tub of Whey, buy a mixture of both cool.gif

As for the ZMA, it's cheap and gives me crazy dreams. I can't comment on the test increase, but it should definitely be a staple in everyone's stack
