Biden is an interesting cat. He's kind of a leftover from the old JFK generation of democrats, back before the far left fringe gained control of the party. He probably wouldn't have a prayer these days of actually getting the nomination himself. Obviously, he didn't.

He was one of my favorites during the primary season...and just in general, seeing him in interviews, etc. He's not afraid to speak his mind, has assloads of domestic and foreign policy experience and he seems genuine, like he actually has a passion for governing.

In any event, back to the links... Obama's economic plan geared towards rebuilding the middle class.

THe Irony is that Biden is running as VP. During the primaries, he actually mentioned Obama's lack of experience and that the presidency doesn't "lend itself to on the job training." But, this may help Osama...... sorry Obama a lot. mad.gif

Pending US-Iraqi withdrawl agreement mirrors Barack's 16 month plan

Well, with the surge and the increased security and training of Iraqi forces, it would make sense. If we'd just pulled out immediately a year ago and not had the surge, things would still be a mess and we'd have ended up having to go back in. If you wait long enough, 16 months will be the magic number.

Obama ahead of McCain in 8 out of 9 major national polls
(watch for these leads to increase next week when new polling data shows the bump he'll get from his VP pick and the Democratic National Convention)

Title of this thread: "some pro-Obama links" so, considering the focus and subject of this thread, I don't feel like I'm being a "bot".

McCain and the Keating 5 corruption scandal

That wasn't fun...OK, back to the positive stuff. Obama pledges to create alternative energy union jobs. Wants to end tax breaks for companies that outsource overseas.

So it says Obama's plan would give back $1000 to middle-class families. But his policies will result in more federal spending and cost of gas going up, thus eliminating those $1000 you get back from the atrocity known as the U.S. federal government.

I also don't understand the left's obsession with spending more and more money on public schooling. A prime example is Washington, D.C. They spend more money than ANY other district in the COUNTRY, yet they have very high dropout and illiteracy rates. This isn't due to not enough spending, it's due to lazy ass nig nogs that don't want to study and further themselves. Yet it's politically incorrect to say this, but EVERYONE knows this.

By the way, the civil rights act from the 1960s, more Republicans voted to pass the bill than Democrats. It wasn't until the Democrats realized they could exploit blacks for votes that they decided to "act" as the more compassionate party. They don't give a fuck about the environment or lower-income people.

Let's see how many Democrats take private jets and Escalade limos to the convention next week. We'll see how fucking concerned those faggots are about the environment.

Also, it seems as though so many people in this country hate the rich, until they get lots of money. It's very ironic, that everyone wants lots of money, yet they hate on those same people they want to become. It's called laziness and not willing to put your work in. I'm sick of niggers and spics blaming everyone else for their problems. Take some fucking responsibility for yourselves and do something with your life rather than bitching all the time.

We're fucked!

But, who knows. A lot can happen b/w now and nov. Any polls at this point mean nothing other than speculation.

One question I have. Why is it that when a democrat candidate chooses his running mate, they always parade around acting ambiguouly gay? I'm watching Obama and Biden now and they're walking around all huggy and touch-feely. Kerry and Edwward did the same thing last time, as did Clinton and Gore back in the day. unsure.gif

That dipshit makes it sound like $1000 is a cure to a family's problem. $1000 is fucking nothing anymore, even less with a family. Ok, so it'll help for 2 weeks once you factor food, gas, bills etc.

Of course the people he is targeting this to will probably blow the money on Grey Goose at the club and a new gold chain and cases of Heineken.

Barack Obama ahead of John McCain (new polling data as of 8/28)

I thought he'd be up at least 5 points (he's up by 4 on average) after selecting Biden and holding the DNC. Only about half of the polls that Real Clear Politics uses are up to 8/28 though, so expect these leads to increase from the impact of Biden, the DNC and Obama's speech.

Although, the GOP convention is happening soon, so McCain's bounce might neutralize Obama's and we'll probably see Barack running anywhere from +2 to +5 by the second week of September.

Just my 2 cents as prognosticator. I'm no Chuck Todd.
