Hey people...I just started a week long trial at this gym in East Rutherford called Strong and Shapely. It's a great gym...probably the best one I've ever been in. Does anyone here go to or know of that gym? I have a couple days to decide if I want to go there or stay with my other gym. I am also going to check out another gym called Fitness Factory which is close to that by 15 minutes in Jersey. Just wondering if there were any Jersey people out there.

I know a couple of guys that go there and they freakin rave about it as well, I'd consider if it were a little bit closer to home. Haven't heard of fitness factory though, I'm at World in wayne but I've been thinking about a change cuz the 60 bucks a month is killing me.

Sounds like a Planet Fitness typa gym. If you go there, you deserve whatever you get.

I forgot the guy's name, but there was a pro-bodybuilder in an old Universal Animal Cuts ad that was pictured training there. Place looks okay: S&SG

It is a wierd name, but you would forget all about it the second you see the inside of that place. They actually have some 210lb dumbbells with Ron Coleman's name on them that he used when he trained there. It's pretty insane. They've got all the powerlifting equiptment I've read about in places like Elite Fitness Systems and other big articles. I've never seen so many pieces of raw hardcore equiptment in one gym before (not the gay stuff, although there is a place for all that there too). I want to do it, but I may end up at the other gym I spoke of because it is closer and better for the wife to go to...and also has enough to get by pretty well. The other gym I spoke of is in Palisades Park, which is like a 3 minute drive from me. Who knows...maybe the wife'll give in and we'll do it.
