I drink a shake right after my workout, about a half our later I eat a meal.

I would use a good lean meat and a slow digesting carb. Like a large chicken sandwich with whole wheat bread or a lean steak and sweet potato. Get some veggies in too

PWO shake whey and casein blend, oats, and low fat milk.

PWO meal can't beat lean meat and big sweet potato with natural peanut butter. biggrin.gif

You would want to take the creatine WITH the simple carbs. Add it to the dextrose or WMS.

Then 20 minutes later after the WMS has absorbed take the protein.

Pasta, 45-60 mins after the PWO shake. I like Barilla Plus best because it's a blend of whole grains plus legumes and egg whites. That makes it a great source of complex carbs, fiber and complete protein.

HAHA, I actually laughed out loud to that picture. I eat those when I am cutting and it seems to work pretty well.

Nutritional supplements are only effective as a health boost. What do I mean by that? Well, to make a short story long, it seems as though there is quite a huge population that believes nutritional supplements are the answer to all diseases and well being. Part of this population seems to think that by taking supplements, there is no need to get it through natural foods.

Funny enough though, if a person just looks at the phrase "nutritional supplement" in it self, they would effectively realize that this is far from the truth. Why? Well, think about it. The word supplement pretty much says it all. To supplement something, merely means to add to something or fill in the place of something, but NOT replace something.
