first thing first, im 5'10 178ish.. was 185 lost about 7-8 pounds just from a clean diet.. im still on a clean diet but im looking to really drop some unwanted fat i have.. im tired of the whole fat burner thing and what not.. im still eating clean and i want to get around 170 but also increase my strength/muscle mass

I did notice when i droped those 7 pounds i increased my weights as well so i was doing something right..

My diet is good.. as far as suppliments go this si what i started taking

befor workout some type of NO product.. no xplode or something and about 4grams of l-glutamine(teaspoon)

after workout I have ON Pro-Complex whey, got it for real cheap at work. so i take 1 big scoop of that with another 4 grams of glutamine and about 8-10oz of water.. i also take ON Casein protein befor bed(1 scoop) and another teaspoon of glutamine..

i have noticed a big difference as well as people telling me i look leaner.. my bench was around 300 at 185lb and the other day i did 300x3 so i am increasing strength, my other weights went up as well


i have tons of glutamine powder left so thats done..
Im tired of buying all the premade stuff wit hthe extra non needed ingredients.. what im thinking on buying soon is L-Tyrosine / Arginine Ethyl Ester / ALCAR(yes or no?) / BCAA/Citrulline Malate combo - all BulkNutrition powder forms.. what i was wondering is how should i dose this...

I was thinking like 3/4 a scoop of ON Whey 30mins befor workout with a teaspoon of glutamine.. half a teaspoon each or how much? of arginine/tyrosine/citrulline malate and how ever much BCAA mixed in one shake.. then postworkout maybe add more arginine/BCAA to my glutamine/protein shake?

i also add fiber too my shakes if that matters and im taking CLA and anabolic pump... and i do a good amount of cardio

all input welcomed.. let me know if you guys feel i should add something to the list or take something off or switch it with something else...

i chose all the powders instead of pills so i could just mix them in with my protein shakes.. to many pills throughout the day upsets my stomaches...

Same here bro! I'm was tired of all the "fat Burners". So I just hit up Primaforce and have some good solid staple supps. Cla, AlCAR, Green tea, Yohimbine, Caffiene, Xtend. Great shit and low budget.

I'd dial in the diet if you want to lose additional weight. Keep training in the low/moderate rep ranges to ensure you retain your strength during the cut.

As far as supplements go I'd go with something like this for an overall health and fat loss stack:

Multivitamin (Opti-Men, Orange Triad, NOW ADAM or Ecogreen, MegaMen, etc)
Fish Oil 1g EPA/DHA daily
Whey PWO
Micronized [PLINK=472]Creatine Monohydrate[/PLINK] 5g. PWO
Green Tea Extract

If you wanted to add in a designer supplement I'd go with Lean Xtreme for a non-stim burner or Scorchv3 for a stim burner (or stack the two for 2 punch fat loss combo).

I'd ditch the glutamine as it is worthless for enhancing athletic performance, use up the rest then be done with that (not sure if you knew this, if you want I'll post up some of the studies).

If you find you still can't lose weight after tweaking your calories, I'd look into Carb Cycling or the Cut Diet to help shred the extra few pounds. If you have any further questions feel free to ask man. smile.gif

I am a Fan of CLA. There are many people who do not like it. It does take some time to work.

I use everything that you have listed.

Beta-Alanine = I think this is one of the best supplements
CEE = I like it better than the mono.
Citrulline Malate = Excellent
ALCAR = has helped
PALCAR = I am 42. Read the posts.
Caffeine = this is the key to the pump. At least for me. Some cannot handle the stimulant effect.

ZMA = at night read the posts

Dude long time no see, I'm a true believer in Glutamine always have been. Never seem to get sick on it, nor do I get so burnt out during sets especially supersets. Good to see you are still kicking ass.

I just boosted my flats of (275x6)x3 to (275x10)x3 in a month with Drive and RPM stacked.

big weight there bro... yea everyone was always talking about this glutamine, so i decided to stop being a cheap idiot and splurged on a decent amount of it. im taking it 3 times a day with about 12-15g bcaa's all spaced out and im doin cardio like crazy witth a decent* diet (beer is my weakness) and i was 173.8 today!!! WTF!?!?!?! how am i dropping all this weight and still getting stronger? haha i love it. i get so many compliments from peopel at the gym like damn ur getting leaner and looking good... im also almost halfway through a bottle of lipodrene.. seems to work well? and half way through my 2nd bottle of anabolic pump... love it, i tried this befor so i knew it was good.. about a week into CLA 6,000mg a day (2pills 3x a day) so im waiting another 2-3 weeks for that to kick in hopefully... cant wait for summer time haha

big ben you got any suggestions on this new bulk powder stack im gonna get? like dosages and what times to take them? i been looking around and got some answers but any advice would help

for preworkout, i always use:

1/2 tsp tyrosine
1 to 2 tsps Arginine AKG
1/2 tsp alcar
1 tsp taurine
1/16th to 1/8th tsp of caffeine anyhydrous
1 tsp glutamine
1 tsp CEE or 2 tsps creatine mono

I use an ECY stack prior as well.

i mix glutamine into my water and drink as im working out between sets. On extreme heavy lift days (legs/back) i may add some maltodex or dextrose to the glutamine water solution.

Post workout:

1 to 2 tsps Arginine AKG
1 tsp taurine
1 tsp CEE or 2 tsps Mono
1/8th to 1/4 cup of Maltodex (i use a small amount)
2 scoops of whey
1 cap of chromium
1 multi
500 mgs Vitamin C
2 fish oil caps or a flaxseed cap
On heavy lift days i may add some oats into the shake.

20 mins after that, down another 5 grams of glutamine.

25 minutes later, eat.


That routine works fine for me.

10 grams glutamine before bed on an empty stomach is a good idea as well.

thats about as hard as it gets bro. to drop body fat while building muscle at the same time, god forbid. it can be done, but its just rediculously hard to do natty.

you need so many extra cal's to create new muscle so your diet is gonna have to be on point like a muh to actually build new muscle while leaning out.

thats why now im more a fan of the bulk phase and then the cutting phase.

the "clean bulk" is wishful thinking IMO. like i said, not saying it cant be done natural, but you gotta be really on point with your diet.

For pre wo i use 1 chicken breast, 1 serving oatmeal, anabolic switch, and about 5 grams of glutamine. Oh and 400mgs of caffiene, works like a charm. Im not into using a bunch of powders as of right now. NO2 products are a waste of money, unless u just use it for a kick in the ass on a bad day. CLA, Green Tea, Caffiene and Glutamine should be plenty, but a lil creatine cant hurt.
