The joke is you keep trying to stir up shit. You constantly say the same crap over and over again. It's fucking old. This entire gear vs. raw argument is old. Get over it. If you don't like it you know what to do. DON'T WATCH IT AND DON'T DO IT! I've already commented on this plenty of times about how there are many Federations that have unequipped and raw divisions and records.

I put a shirt on for the first time a few Sunday's ago. I have to say it was an awesome experience and can't wait to get back over to Carpenter's and do it again. It was hard as hell to put on, cut off circulation, hurt like a bitch trying to bring the weights down. But once I touched the board and started pushing it was such a thrilling ride to have so much more weight in my hands.

Nothing cheating about it when you are competing against those that are wearing a shirt as well. It is such a different lift and can not compare. You still have to be strong as hell to stabilize, lower the weights with control, and lock that shit out. You get out of grove and aren't strong enough to correct and that bar is gone. Wearing the shirt really puts a lot more technique into the lift. My arms were fried like they have never been before after that session.

He's also being a hypocrite in that article as he has used a bench shirt himself. There are many points and flaws in that article that has been discussed and picked apart on many powerlifting forums.

Personally I fucking hate that dude in the second video. Just annoys the crap outta me. The fact that some bench shirts are more elastic than others is stupid. Plus look how that shirt fits on him. You cant serisouly call that a legit bench press.

Soon squaters will be wearing knee braces with hydraulic pistons in the knees for "support"

Wouldn't bother me at all. If a federation allows that kind of suit then it is legit for that federation. If someone doesn't like it then they wont lift in that federation. If people like it then they will flock over to that federation and it will do well. Wont ever effect how I lift.

my absolute favorite part of this argument is that 99.9% of the time, the people complaining about powerlifting equipment have not participated in a powerlifting meet let alone seen one in person.

at the end of the day it really doesn't matter. If guys want to strap rockets to the barbell and call it a bench press...who gives a fuck? If roids wants to jerk off to brazilian she-male websites...who gives a fuck? At the end of the day, nobody here is paying anyone elses bills or dues for them.
