You really keep your diet on-point and you seem to be a strong ass dude. Keep it up bro!

Gonna do before/after pics? wub.gif

Thanks bro. I never really considered myself strong but I have been getting compliments lately. Really been trying to build up my legs. I don't have a camera so no before pics but I hope to get one soon to do some after pics.

Yeah, we will be smashing weights after prejudging in the afternoon on Saturday. I would prefer to hit a more hardcore gym if you know of one in the area?

I don't really know of any but I will ask around and get back to you asap.

5 Neovar upon waking
4 RPM + 1 NeoVar 30 minutes before workout
5 NeoVar after workout

Workout:
Wide Cable rows 140x12, 160x12, 180x9, 200x5
Close Pulldowns 220x12, 250x12, 250x11
T-Bar rows 135x12, 160x10, 180x7
EZ Curls 110x13, x8

Comments:
I had to rush through the workout because I had to get to work. I made it to the T-Bar but I almost threw up from going so fast. Oh well, I hate back day anyway. I do love adding the Neovar and RPM together preworkout. Pumps are great.

I forgot to take the RPM and let me tell you that I will never forget to again. My strength and especially energy level were down. I was struggling to get through the workout mad.gif . The view in the gym was sweet if you know what I mean tongue.gif

Rich- The only "hardcore gym" I know of in the area is Powerstation and that is in Middletown. Not of any that I know of in Dayton.

Checking out the log, seeing how your cut is going with NeoVar/RPM.

Nice diet listed, I like it! Though for a cut, I hope the calories aren't too high.

Dude your BB Curls are insane, here I thought I had some kick ass curls....Damn!

Chest workouts look strong too, you don't do any fly movements for a chest finisher? I find decline DB flys to add in a serious finish pump to chest. I usually use a weight I can get 10 reps with but yet still get more of a squeeze/flex feeling than weight feeling throughout the movement.

Thanks Ben. I am a hardgainer and have had a very difficult time gaining muscle but when I cut I lose fat like nothing so I have I can keep up my cals. As for doing a fly, I found for me that when I do them I get better shape but when i don't do them my chest seems to grow more so I switch it up every now and then.

I also read that H.Rollins The Iron link that you posted. I liked it.

5 Neovar upon waking
4 RPM + 1 NeoVar 30 minutes before workout
5 NeoVar after workout

Workout:
One-arm DB rows 125's x10, 130's x9, 140's x6
Pullups 25x12, 50x12, 75x7
T-Bar rows 135x12, 180x11, 225x8
DB concentration curls 60's x9, x9, x8

Comments:
I have found out that if I eat anywhere near the time I take the RPM that it just screws up my stomach. I feel like throwing up the whole workout. Sometimes I can't wait to take the RPM on an empty stomach because of my schedule. Even with the stomach issues, another great workout. We had another person workout with us, he is a powerlifter, and he was very motivating. Which is good because I abhor back day.

Comments:
I decided I was going to go for 135's so I took 5 RPM. Man did I have energy and motivation. The RPM just makes you so focused and motivated to go heavy. it is unlike any preworkout supp I have ever tried. Had to rush through the workout due to gym closing and had people coming up to me asking me what my diet is like and what my workouts look like. They were impressed at me getting 135's and so was I. The only problem is I think I strained my left biceps sad.gif . Hopefully it gets better by back day. Plus, I am now down another 2 pounds.

I was not feeling it today. My workout partner skipped out today and I could just not get motivated to lift. I did find out that my left leg is stronger than my right leg. Guess I am going to have to start doing one legged exercises to strengthen the right one up to my left one. Left bi feels better today smile.gif

I will be running out of Neovar any day now so I will go and get my bodyfat tested in a couple of days and then have my final conclusion on these two products. As far as todays workout, it was okay. My left bicep started hurting again after the workout but it allowed me to go hard during the workout so oh well.

Holy crap dude, you are taking your RPM and NeoVar 15 minutes before a workout?!!! Not really bad, but if it seems its lacking performance then try what I do.

RPM I usually take a dose (-1) about an hour before and then the (-1) 15 minutes before a workout.

Your NeoVar should be taken then 15 minutes later some carbs consumed!!! I usually take it 1 hr to no less than 45mins before a workout, wait 15 mins and eat carbs or drink a protein/carb shake, then allow about 1/2hr for my stomach to mostly clear.

Are you getting some mediciny burps during your workout?!

Also I try not to eat anything about an hour before a workout, sometimes what makes you sick feeling is because of digestion and blood from your pump conflicting.

Ben, thanks for the advice. I like to take it about 30 minutes or less before my workout because for me I have found it to be the most effective. I do gets those burps and that nauseated feeling but my strength is higher when I do it like that.

Huh, well if its still working good keep at it! Sometime you should try how I posted and see if it does any better for you. But wait till you are off your comp cut incase if the extra carbs are too much.

Also being on a cut I'd recommend Drive which contains Forskolin, that stuff has muscle sparing properties for lower calorie diets and muscle building properties. Good Stuff...like having your cake and eating it too....oops bad analogy for being on a cut...my bad! wink.gif

I've been moving to a new apartment and with work and lifting I haven't had a chance to get on here, but I went and got my fat tested and did all the measurements.

4/23/08 5/29/08
Weight: 221 lbs 215
Bodyfat: 9.8% (Bod Pod) 8.7%

Measurements: (all cold)
Shoulders: 55.25" 55.75"
Lats: 48" 48"
Chest: 45" 45"
Arms: 17.5" 17.5"
Forearms: 14.75" 14.75"
Waist: 32.5" 31"
Calves: 16" 16"
Thighs: 25.75" 25.75"
Neck: 17.25" 17.25"

RPM/NeoVar Conclusion:
All I can say is WOW! I was able to lose 1.1% bodyfat, 6 pounds, and 1.5" off my waist all while my shoulders got bigger. I never thought that I would be able to set new personal records while on a cut. It seemed like every week I was getting stronger in something. These products are definately a must have while cutting. I plan on trying the new NeoVar eventually and hope that it is close to how great this version is. The only problem I had was that sometimes the RPM would make my stomach hurt.

Now that I have done this mini-cut I am planning my first contest to be next May. Rich is running one in Columbus in May and I am planning on that being the one I do. For this being my first cut, i learned a lot which should help me later on.

Congrats on the progress Kevin! The bod pod is pretty harsh too, so you are certainly lean. Keep training hard for next May!!
