Im trying to save some time by making my post workout shakes early in the day so i can just have it handy when i need it. If i add the creatine to the liquid in the morning and its sitting in liquid all day, would it degrade? Should i just keep the creatine seperate and add it when i need it? Any input appreciated.

I would just keep it seperate and add it when you need to. I have heard other people say that it degrades.

What about protein or BCAAs because I always mix my BCAA drink the night before so it will mix thoroughly before the next day.

Creatine degrades in liquid quickly, depending on the temperature of the liquid--the hotter, the quicker. http://www.gain-weight-muscle-fast.com/ has more info on creatine than you could ever want. I learned a lot about how to take it from there. They actually recommend disolving creatine in hot water before taking it. I wouldn't give it any more than 10 minutes before consuming. I haven’t heard anything about proteins degrading. I'd imagine they're pretty stable. In my experience, the longer you let BCAA sit in liquid (especially acidic juices), the better it disolves, which means fewer clumps.

Yeah protein definitely doesn't..Look at all the RTD's that sit on the shelves for months

i just put powder( protien/creatine) in all my cups for the next day, and add water when i consume them. I always carry a gallon of water where ever i go, so all i do is add water, shake, consume. Easy peazy.

Creatine starts to convert into creatinine in water, pretty quickly. Id mix it only if you intend to drink it soon. This is why liquid creatine is an absolute scam. Protein isnt going to degrade in water.

Creatine won't degrade in an oil based liquid, though. What was the question anyway? |

As far as I've read, the only variety that doesn't quickly degrade is kre-alkalyn.
