Ok, so the verdict is in. I'm def going to keep this new leg routine for a while. I trained this morning and my quads already feel more sore than they usually do after training.
Started with heavy leg presses
6 plates (on each side) X 10
7 X 8
8 X 5
8 X 4 then went into a drop set reaching failure and taking a plate off of each side until I was down to 2 plates on each side. So I think I dropped 4 times, not entirely sure I was a sweaty grunting crying mess at the time. Then I just kinda fell of out the machine and laid down for a bit and tried my best to keep my precious
protein from spilling out of my guts.......
By far the most intense leg exercise I've done, after that I felt like puking through the rest of my leg routine though and had to sit a few times. I had a shaker with whey in it and waxymaize which kept me going but overall I was spent.
