Sounds like a good stack so far. I'd add some Ephedrine and Caffeine. Check out this article on proper usage.

For a woman, I'd suggest starting with 30mg E and 300mg C (or less) starting in the morning, 10/100mg every 2 hours. Gradually upping the dose up to 60mg E and 600mg C, 10/100mg every 2 hours. The article details it. There's some chemist mumbo jumbo in there, but it outlines the principles very well.

If it makes you jittery, lower the dose. I'd only up the dose once you develop a tolerance for the dose you're taking.

I wouldn't take any doses 6 hour before bed time, so it doesn't interfere with sleep patterns.

And NO ephedrine isn't evil. It's a very useful sup for metabolism stimulation and lean mass preservation. And it's legal.

One last note: no ammount of supplements can make up for a poor diet. Diet has to be in check before sups should even be considered.

LIFT. SOMETHING. HEAVY.

Eat eat lift eat eat rest eat. Grow. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Eat less, move more!

How much weight does she want to lose? What's her diet? I always recommend certain supps for everyone - a multi is a necessity, green tea or green tea extract and fish oil. Burning more calories than you consume is the key. There is no magic pill.

My suggestion BEFORE taking stimulants is to try HIIT training. She can mix it up with her endurance training for the marathon, and I bet it will help. With a clean diet that will melt the fat off. You can't spot train anything, some people just hold their fat in certain areas. The only way to lose it is to get lean all over. Those areas may always be trouble spots, but if she gets lean all over they will shrink too.

Her diet probably isn't as clean as she thinks, or if it is she's probably still underestimating her portion sizes and getting more calories than she wants. We all underestimate. She needs to weigh and measure food to be sure.
