well i just came back from the doc today and he said i caught MRSA from the dirty bastards in my gym and says i cant workout or even lift anything heavy until its gone. im on an antibiotic at the moment and he wants to drain my arm in a couple days :\.....what would u guys do? sit home and rest for possibly 2 weeks without working out or cover up the sh*t in bandages wear a long sleeve sweatshirt and hit the weights? as much as i would love the second option everyones telling me to suck it up and just workout harder when its better

its a staph infection that starts out looking like a little spider bite and if left untreated could spread to anywhere on your body and possibly kill u.....u get it from touching infected things like benches, spray towels basically anything he said me having a little keratosis polaris from hereditary made it easy for my skin to be in contact with it.

I heard people who have pre-existing immune conditions like HIV are more likely to catch that 1.
