I have been using about 50 grams a day of 1 Fast 400 BCAA's and have been having huge sleep problems. Only able to sleep about a half hour at a time if that. Has anyone else ever had the same problems. I don't know if this is true or not but a friend told me that caffine is mixed with BCAA's at times to .

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the BCAA's. I would look at the rest of your diet and supplements for a possible cause.

slow down on the bcaa's too much can cause a dopamine imbalance, could be the source of your problems.

Holy fuck, 50 grams a day???? Are you more than 250lbs? Wouldn't see the need to consume more than 25g/day. At 190lbs I stick around 15-20 g / day at most. If I take too much at once I feel dogged down.

I do about 40g a day. 20pre and 20 post. But I can't imagine it would effect your sleep

this could be the issue...
in low doses (25g / day) this is fine, but higher doses can decrease dopamine and raise prolactin

I weigh 285 lbs. When I upped the dose to 50g I feel great all day.

What ratio of aminos are you taking?

Per 5 grams: 2.5g L-Leucine
1.25g L-Isoleucine
1.25g L-Valine
