6-oxo settle to the bottom this only takes minute for a complete separation. You will notice a brown liquid top layer and a white solid bottom layer. Use a droppper and extract the brown liquid upper layer. Repeat procedure- top layer gets lighter and lighter(brown, yellow, faint yellow). Filter through 2 coffee filters and rinse with DMSO, then with auquafina. Dry filter cake in microwave or in coffee pot on coffee burner.
6-Oxo is a white crystalline powder. This is the only way I'll use it.
If bulk nutrition's pharmocologist cared about the people using this they would purify using a 3 or 5 stage DMSO counter-current cascade extraction (pharmecutical purity, 99%). The impurities give you a
sickening feeling and purification makes it fresh and clean. It's like the difference between a skid row bum and a hollywood movie star.
