Today, I put in my 2-week notice at the bank and my last official day will be April 4. I am taking the vacant full-time position of lead trainer at my gym, Metro Fitness in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

This will greatly increase my availability and allow me to do what I love, helping people improve their health and fitness. This is a big move, but now is a really good time. I am psyched!!!

Not only will I spending more time in my own gym, but I will also be doing more online programming (diet, training, contest prep, etc.) for those not in Ohio. This business is taking off for those that need such specialized guidance.

Other initiatives include a beginner DVD and my own bodybuilding show in May 2009, the INBF Buckeye Classic in Columbus. Let's do this!!

Congrats on the new news... You definately have a drive that pushes you in your training which carries over into everyday life. It sounds like some good days are a head of you. Congrats once again man

Thanks fellas! I can breathe a huge sigh of relief now as I have been putting in 65-70 hours between the two jobs...and hating life 9-5.

I worked in corporate banking as a treasury management sales officer. Sales for 3 years and analyst for 2. Gained much experience that I will take with me into future business ventures. Good time to get out of banking.

So, now that you have all this time on your hands.... you going to start hanging out in the Clean Thread?

Clean thread huh? Yeah, I usually stay away from that stuff when I'm at the bank surfing, haha. Free time...I don't plan on sitting on my butt that is for sure.

I plan on spending the next few months conquering the lunch crowd first, enhancing my web design skills, getting my own workouts in earlier so I can train more later, doing entirely different continuing ed work to diversify my services, promote my bodybuilding show in 2009...you get the point. No rest if I want to do this!

cc-10- Don't fret the corporate world. I enjoyed it for a few years, but just found my passion elsewhere. My experience will serve me will in the future.
