| So I ask this because before when I trained I would get just a small sweat going. But after time I noticed I get my best workouts when i seriously bust ass and sweat up a storm, leave with nothing left. Also, I noticed at the gym the guys who are in the best shape (aka, the shape I want to be in) are always carrying a good sweat during workouts. So how do the rest of you train? |

| For me it all depends on how quickly I'm moving between sets, exercises and how much weight I'm tossing around. On squats I'll be pouring down sweat after the second set if it's an on day. Those days are the best. Some of my lessor days, like an isolation arm day or when I'm feeling extra tired and lazy -- I wont even glisten. Those days suck the most. Technically, the more you sweat the better off you are. It means your body is trying to cool down the heat from burning calories and rebuilding muscle. |

| Sometimes I sweat more when I AP actually than when I SFW. Just depends on the motivaton that day. |

| I sweat the most when I train legs for obvious reasons. And when I train back (deadlifts, rows etc). Very taxing. |

So you noticed that when you train harder you sweat? And this comes a suprize...why? Sweat has no correlation to hypertrophy but if your going all out your probably going to sweat. |

| If you dont sweat then you're not even working out! |

| I sweat profusely. Front and back of shirt usually have that tell-tale sweat ring that extends halfway down the shirt. When I get home, I don't take my shirt off, I peel it off. |

You should try these Nike Ventilation tops their pretty good for keeping you dry! |

I prefer to just chop the sleeves off old ass t-shirts I don't wear anymore. I hate the fags that come in w/ matching Nike Ventilation or Under Armor outfits. Sweatpants a ragged t-shirt... that's me, baby! |

| i sweat at work at an indoor job which isnt even really physical. i sweat like a beast at the gym, especially on leg and back day im soaked. now im also on cycle which makes you sweat twice as much..... |

| it totally depends on what im doing and what the temperature is. Most of the time im in a semi-heated garage with an outside temp of 20-40 degrees F...So im lucky if i bead up a lil. I just came back from North carolina last week...and i was drenched after my workouts while down there. i know it sounds simplistic, but its all about the ambient temperature in my case. |

| you dont wanna use the bench or seat that i was previously using.... |

| I'm usually pretty drenched when I workout. I try to keep my rest time to about 45 secs between sets to make sure I get some cardio out of it as well seeing how I'm not much for running. |

You train legs still? Good to see most on here train hard. I sweat my ass off, but the AC seems to be workin better this year. |

| Nothing is more draining than a hot ass gym with the sun beaming in through the windows. One wall of a local Gold's is entirely made of windows and it just so happens to be facing the direction the sun sets. So if the A/C isn't pumping, the place is a fucking greenhouse. Thus on those days it's like leaving the jungle. /badpun |

| No shit. My gym is below ground level so the windows are up by the ceiling. In the afternoons the fucking sun is beaming through and right in your face if you're bench pressing. |

| No windows in my gym...at all. Even still, I don't do any cardio and rest 1-2 min between everything and still I'm sweating like a pig by the time my 40-60 minute workout is over. |
