Ya it was something I never saw myself doing 2 years ago, that is for damned sure. I'm gonna try to get to 245 or so and cut down to around 215 and do the heavyweights.

On your rear double bi shot, it doesn't look like you were flexing your hams... like trying to push to floor away. May have cheated yourself a bit. But, from the sound of it, you have plenty of time to work on posing.

Ya, all the back shots I didn't work on too much to be honest. Plus I need to get more mass on my hammies and we also store the most fat there so my conditioning wasn't doing me any favors. My next competition is going to get all my attention and time, it should be the beginning of turning a hobby into a career hopefully. Time will tell but if I keep up my progress I think I can be competing in nationals as a heavyweight by the time I'm 25.

You learned first hand what type of conditioning is needed to compete and win. Give yourself more than enough time next time to dial in your conditioning. Muscle maturity plays a role to getting that hard, grainy look. The more you diet down the better your muscles will separate.

Congrats on doing your thing on stage Vap. wink.gif Taking time off at your age is smart, if you can fight off the urge to compete. It can be tempting. Enjoy eating and growing!!
