HAHA...that's cuz Keith Hernandez hated Whitey Herzog and bounced to NYM to make us the ridiculously talented team we were. Best defensive 1st basemen ever...and he wasn't shy about talking shit on the Cards front office.
Dude would bat .300, make ridiculous plays in the field and be crushing Michelobs and Marlboros in the clubhouse. Goddamn, I wish I could go back in time to experience that era again.
