Yeah dude. I live near downtown St. Pete, 5 minutes from the stadium. They better watch out during Spring Training though. Their ST stadium is in Clearwater, right across the bridge from St. Pete. No metal detectors at the gates either. Click click BOOM.
No but seriously they earned their trophy and title. Rays just played like shit. It's gonna be fun to watch them both from now on.

I grew up in MN and I'm still a Twins fan and always will be. I went to every game they played down here this year. The Rays and Twins are very similar in that they're both small market teams which rely on their farm systems and trades to build their talent. They don't just whip out their checkbook like so many other teams.
However, they don't broadcast Twins games in FL, and the Rays stadium is 5 minutes from my apt so they became my home team by default. That, and the fact they're fucking awesome.

I hope the Twinks sign Blake. He'd be a nice addition to our infield. I read in a Minneapolis paper today that the Twins are talking to the Brewers and looking into JJ Hardy. A little power at 3B and SS in addition to Casilla at 2nd and Morneau at 1st.

Those would be some sweet scores if they could pull it off. Didn\'t know about Hardy but all the better. They\'re all set for outfielders but they need to tighten up their infield.
If they could add some decent pop to their offense and with Gardy at the helm for at least a couple more seasons, sheeeeiiiiiiiiit....

Rays aren't gonna lose any players in the arbitration deadline. I don't really understand the whole arbitration thing cuz I've never looked into it, but I know it's a good thing to not lose any players.
