Pedro's arm is feeling good and he's had an awesome spring! If he can stay healthy and pitch well, the Mets are gonna be really dangerous come September/October. I think he's the key.

I'm pointing out, that they can't be that bad since they've won as many World Series as the Mets have

They stocked up on talent for a couple isolated years, won 2 World Series titles, then sold everyone off.

They were way below .500 in 2006 and again in 2007 and probably will be again in 2008, so overall, they weren't that bad......but currently they are a Triple-A squad for all intents and purposes.
