Applied Nutriceuticals' RPM/DRIVE Stack Log!!!

1Fast400 Forums > Product Testers

Posted by: Big_Ben Feb 4 2008, 02:54 PM
Hey everyone, here we go with another log of the RPM/DRIVE Stack. I had some great results with the last run, size was great right off the bat with strength just really starting to make leaps and bounds right near the end. Although a few extra reps here and there leading up to the main gain.

So I'm going to log another run, and will probably be stacking for 2 cycles this time so we'll see what happens in the longer run!

If you don't know me by now here it goes:

Been lifting for 2 full years now since a break from 4 years off, and 10 years of experience before hand. So I've had my share of supps, from non-mixing protein powders to Xenadrine (Ephedra Based Fatburners) now banned.

Never injected anything though, and have tried a few of the prohormones: Halodrol 50, Phera-Max, and 1-AD back in my 20's. My 2nd run of P-Max being a year ago.

Ran 1 stack of RPM/DRIVE with close to prohormone results in size, so I'm going for round 2 with alittle extra time added in. Also ran a stack of RPM/NeoVar with great results as well, and strength reaching that of what I had on PH's.

Age:31
Height: 5'-8"
Weight: 218lbs
Arms: 19 3/4" with a pump! (only thing I've ever measured....besides..well you know!!!) laugh.gif

Current Supps:
RPM/DRIVE by Applied Nutriceuticals
TriCreatine Malate
Glutamine
Taurine
L-Leucine
Whey Protein
Maltodextrin/Dextrose
Men's MultiVitamin

Current Split in exact order:
Monday-Chest/Tri/Delts HEAVY
Tuesday-Bi/Back/Traps HEAVY
Wednesday-Legs/Abs HEAVY
Thur-Sat Start over Light
Sunday-OFF

Every 2 weeks, I swap Triceps and Back, and Traps and Delts for a push/pull workout.

And lastly thanks to Vitruvian and Applied Nutriceuticals for supplying me a great supplement to test. I've never been dissatisfied with any of the products I've tested, and quite frankly am impressed every time.

Lets get STARTED!!!!!

2/4/08

Alright lets do it!

Starting off low and will raise it the next few days probably Thursday, last run I had some bad #2's that I'm going to try and defeat! So I figure a few days at 2/2 then 3/3 and then who knows!

Also will be doing some cardio here and there, and will mark each session. Hopefully if I can stay consistent it will be mornings, or after workouts if not.

7:30am: 2 RPM/2 DRIVE

Been feeling great all day, so no sides. Good boost of energy, wide freakin' awake, and just all around feel great for Monday.

7:30 2 RPM/2 DRIVE

8:30 Feeling the switch turn on so time to Workout!

Workout:

Chest:
Flat Bench: 135x18, 185x14, (225x12)x3
Incline Bench: (185x12)x3, 225x6
Decline Fly: (55lb DBx10)x3

Triceps:
Cable Extensions: 50lbs on sledx14x3

Stopped!!!

Overall Workout:
Very strange, had a shitty workout tonite. My head was in it, but my muscles were cramping a bit for some reason. Even 225 on flat felt heavier than it should be, not sure what happened or what I did wrong. I kind of had a shitty weekend for eating but didn't really expect that much of an effect like that! Oh well I'll pick it up. After stopping I went up stairs and pumped out 30 pushups x 3sets just because I was pissed!

Pump:
Strange, I had a great pump and my chest looked pretty sweet last nite so I'm not that upset! And sweat had started decently. Should have taken pics, but I was pissed about the workout.

I'm not sure what was up, I have a great workout last week hitting 335 on flats to feeling 225 burn me out.

I did have a Root Canal done on Thursday, so not sure if the meds upped my Lactic Acid levels or what but the muscle started burning way ahead of what is normal. Maybe even healing took a toll, but the RC was easier than a filling being done. I was actually surprised how painless it was.

So we'll see tonite with Bi/Back/Trap, if alls good then I'll double bi's and tri's and traps with Delts.

Sides:
Alot of gas tonite....hope that isn't a bad sign of things to come!!! laugh.gif

So off to a strange start, I could care less about strength as I'm not a powerlifter. So I'm not that worried, size matters strength is just a bonus!

I can't wait to start up on drive + rpm again. Leaves you feeling so good.

Dang homie, you got them on lock down when it comes to providing supps!

Wanna get some more bottles and claim it's for yourself, but send them on over to me?? I guess I shouldn't have posted that for everyone to see laugh.gif

Definitely looking forward to the log. And if you ever need any Phera-Max, Will109090 is here to provide some biggrin.gif

Nice, I'm not going to lie I am pretty lucky to have Vitruvian hook me up for doing logs. But I can't just take the supps and run, gotta take the time to type and take notes of stuff. I do my best to describe things if I have the time.

I know Vitruvian has a few spots in the forums for more testors, get reviewing supps and sign up bro!

Easy, you are correct on that one. I'm pretty happy with RPM/Drive's effects and am looking forward to see where 2 stacks gets me. Sucks with the start but I'm upping my water and food today and I'll see how biceps goes tonite.

I should have thrown this down in my NeoVar thread, last Wednesday my buddy stopped and spotted me for biceps/back/traps. I curled 135 on the Olympic Bar last week for 3 reps, after 115 for 7 for 2 sets, 95 for my normal 10, and my warm up of 65x14. My arms were sore up to Sunday! Amazing what you can do when someone's got your back. And that NeoVar is no joke, I was very happy with it.

Posted by: MoVin_Weight Feb 5 2008, 07:27 PM
glad you like neovar... i'm getting ready to do a log of RPM/Neovar here when Vitruvian gets me hooked up... I'm excited! this is the heaviest i'v been natural, and my BF has not gone out of control either, after seein your log i'll should def be able to pack on some more size with that stack

Posted by: ANIMAL333 Feb 6 2008, 12:42 AM
Im getting ready to start an RPM log as well cool.gif Good luck with the log Ben, ill be following

I think you'll like how hard your muscles will get, and pumps feel pretty amazing as well. Alot like Anabolic Pump but upped hardness, I'd get done with my workout and after back and traps my bi's would still be as hard as pumped as they were when I'd worked them first. I'd go up and have my wife feel them....she was pretty impressed! wink.gif

I ate a carb meal about 15 mins after the NeoVar, almost on exact timing I'd burp a CEE taste and it was time to eat!! Haha!

Just noticed that bar curl workout above.... that is insane man!

2/5

7:30am 2 RPM/2 DRIVE

By 8:30 I'm woke the F up! And definitely hot, as usual its cold at work so usually a sweatshirt is a must...not anymore! Focus at work is nice, I feel like a working machine!

5:30 3 RPM/3 DRIVE

6:30 Feeling it time to hit it....

Workout

Bi's
Standing Ez Curls: (85x10)x3
Standing DB Curls: 50DBx6Each Side x3
Cable Preachers: (40 on sledx10)x3

Tri's:
Extensions: (50lb on sledx10)x3
Reverse Ext: (40 on sledx10)x3

Overall Workout:

Still burning out quick, and not at 100% max...using my usual high rep weights. Sucks, and I'm pissed. My head's in it, but my muscles feel like a high amount of Lactic Acid build up or something. So just arms tonite.

Pump:
Great, for how weak and crappy my workout is, pumps are great and full. Also Pump doesn't take long.

Sweat:
Up, not insane like summer workouts this stack but its 30 degrees outside, and I don't heat my basement!

Sides:
I hate to acknowledge it, but the diarhea started. Damn was hoping I could figure a way to fix it. On the plus side, I don't spend much time on the toliet!!!! laugh.gif

So I trained just arms tonite, sucks feeling weak and achey but something's recovering. Either from maxing last week or from my Dentist Appt, but I'm not going to push it too hard this week and save it for next.

2/6

7:30 2 RPM/2 DRIVE

Once again heat and focused by 8:30.

6:30 3 RPM/3 Drive

7:30 Shoveling!!

Going to bust some ass on shoveling tonite, here in MI we got 6-8 inches. Shoveled for an hour, did our driveway and back deck for the dogs!

Went all like hell and threw snow to the opposite side I was standing.

Overall Shoveling:

Great workout, got done and was sweating like mad. I'm using this for back tonite, and figured a good sweat will hopefully help whatever is kicking my ass using an aerobic workout. Didn't feel too cramped tonite so hopefully whatever is kicking my ass is going out.

Pump:
Lower back felt it the most, feel like I did deads for an hour.

Sweat:
Drenched!

Sides:
Just the shits!!!

So hopefully a good sweat and work will shock my muscles back in order. Weird I've never felt this shitty on strength but I've never had a Root Canal or Dental Work in a long time. I'm wondering if the Novecane (sp?) had anything to do with it.

2/7

7:30 2 RPM/2 DRIVE

Felling better today right off the bat, lower back feels awesomely sore. Chest is still sore from Monday, Arms aren't too bad.

Still feeling hot after an hour of consumption, no sweatshirt again. Drank some Oolong Tea this morning, should keep it up to flush some anti-Oxidants in my system to annihilate whatever is attacking the muscles.

Legs tonite so will update tomorrow. May hit some rows and upper back/trap exercises with legs.

5:00-Dosing getting started early tonite.

5:00- 3 RPM/3 Drive

6:00- Again, heightened alertness, energy boost time to hit it

Workout:

Legs:
Leg Extensions: 35lbs one leg (warmup), (2(35's)1(25)x12)x4 both legs
Leg curls: (Same weightx10)x4
Squats: 185x14, 225x12, 275x8, 315x5
front Squats: 135x10, (185x6x)3

Calve Raises: (225x10)x4

Overall Workout:
Workout wasn't so bad tonite, still alittle weaker but I started with extensions and curls instead of compound movements just to test. Feeling a bit better, massive energy and drive to throw down the weights tonite.

Pump:Pump was explosive, after the first set of extensions I could feel my legs getting thicker, and my quads were actually getting hot! Cannot wait for a few weeks on this stuff as I can tell the muscles are starting to pump up quicker and feel thicker. And pumps are sustaining longer after working out.

Sweat:
Not bad for a basement workout, mostly forehead and lower back.

Sides: Same bad dumps!

So hopefully next week will be more productive, I think tonite chest should be good to go and I may throw in arms or save them for Saturday. Its weird that strength has felt like crap this week after blowing up last week, but pumps are getting good and lasting already. Even after training chest Monday on my first day, it seemed in the morning I was fuller. So no matter what this weekend will be productive even if for only a quick pump, and will hopefully get back up to speed next week.

Yo Vitruvian!!! Yeah I was kicking some ass! Forearms were killing after the 135, more than my biceps!! Grip was harder than the curl itself!

On taking RPM/DRIVE should I be taking them both at once or one then the other? If split how much time in between? Been taking them both at once the last few days.

Continue taking them simultaneously man.

You may want to drop your Drive dose to 1 and 1 for a few days and try to work your way up if the GI issues are bothering you. I'm surprised the forslean continues to do you like that.... but you're not alone.

Also, look for something else (previously mentioned) to arrive on your step within a couple weeks wink.gif

135 is some serious curling.

Overall WO:
Not bad workout especially before lunch, 225 on inclines wasn't bad. Still feeling the explosion from the RPM/DRIVE an hour after consumption. Workout was better than earlier in the week, didn't feel as cramped and burnt out. So hopefully workouts will be back in order.

Pump:
Pump feels strong and above normal, and they last for some time after.

Sweat:
Better than normal, not completely drenched yet but its winter.

Sides:
Still having the bowel problems, but seem to be less frequent now.

So my workout is getting back to normal, I'm almost sure it was either the Novacaine from the dentist or just my body healing from the Root Canal.

Overall Workout:
I'm baaaaaack!!! Workout went well, but late!!! I was energized and ready to kick some ass after my dosing. Good energy, increased heart beat, you f-ing name it. Like a switch kicked on and said ok lets kick some ass tonite!!! Although it got late so I had to go low on Tris and Delts.

Pump:
Felt great, chest looked great after flats to amazing after inclines. Pump stayed for an hour which then I went to bed.

Sweat:
Getting heavier, wore my skull cap to workout and that helped keep my head and ears warm. Definitely showered after.

Sides:
No Explosive Diarrhea today!!!

Good stuff I'm back in the saddle.

Blew out and sweating my ass off afterward, so ate dinner and called it good. Lower back was so pumped! Haha!

2/13

9:00 3 RPM/3 DRIVE

Seated reverse Grip Rows: (120 on sledx12)x4
Seated inside Grip Rows: Same

Overall WO:

Good workout, energized through out whole thing. Took it alittle easy as I am actually sore from shovelling so much! WTF?! I guess just from actual work instead of controlled movements.

Pump:
Great arms were swole!!! Lats were filled up like a balloon.

Sweat:
Had to take off my skull cap (beanie) I was getting so hot it started pissing me off!

Good stuff, like I said took it alittle easier tonite. I feel like I've got 2 steel pipes in my lower back, even my bi's were sore....strange but cool!

Posted by: MoVin_Weight Feb 13 2008, 04:03 PM
haha yeah we had about 10 inches of that heavy ass slushy wet snow here in Chi-Town last week, i thought i was gonna croak of a heart attack while shoveling the drive... lower back was completely tore up

keep up the good work bro

Posted by: Vitruvian Feb 13 2008, 06:20 PM
I feel guilty (and lucky) having only gotten 3 or so inches of snow here in central indiana.

7:30 3 RPM/3 DRIVE

Had a bad morning with my stomach and bowel movements. Wow, it was bad. A dude caught me on my way to the toliet...oh my god I felt sorry as I was just keeping it fast answers and such but I was so close it made it worse! Haha! I thought I was gonna shit myself! My stomach sounded like a thunderstorm was blowing up a hurricane or something.

Think I may have to lower dose for a few days.

Well tonite is Valentines, so we shall see about the workout. I don't wanna slack on legs, but I already got the quote "How about we meet up here in about 10 hours?" from the wife this morning in bed....bow chicka wow wow!!! wink.gif

So I'll get my "pump" on no matta what tonite!!!

7:30am 1 RPM/DRIVE

Did get alittle caffeine buzz going still even a 1 pill!!!

5:30 2 RPM/DRIVE

6:30 Workout, feeling good and awake so far no stomach issues

Workout:

Overall workout:
Good workout tonite, even at lower dose I'd say this stuff is still working great. Got the in the Zone feeling and didn't really tire that bad until my run.

Pump:
Still working great, pumps start to get insane after the first few sets by the second exercise you can tell its elevated

Sweat:
Awesome sweat during my run, above average for workout.

Sides:
Feeling better at lower dose, still bad gas but not feeling like I'm gonna crap at a moments notice!

Lower dosage I'm feeling better and about the same effects. We'll see next week how it is effected.

2/19

Was freakin' busy all weekend with family outings and a b-day party so I took it off besides a few pushups and pumps here and there! Did 5 sets of pushups the other nite, 3 flat and 2 legs raised inbetween. And damn my chest was huge! Sandy asked what I was taking!!!

7:30 1 RPM/ 2 Drive

No problems, feeling great.

One thing I've noticed that just struck me is I'm hungry almost all the time! Been getting home from work or about to leave work and wanting to eat like mad! Which is definitely above normal, also recovery is pretty quick inbetween workouts. Some days I'd expect to be alot more sore than I am, and soreness is staying around good soreness threshold where its great to flex as you can feel the whole muscle.

Sandy brought home Boston Market Chicken last nite and I ate 1/2 a chicken and about 3/4 of 3 of the sides!!!! Then was hungry about an hour later! And before bed finished off Sandy's left over chicken!!! HAHA!

5:30 2 RPM/2 Drive

Will be doing Arms and Delts tonite, since chest is alittle sore.

Workout: Bi/Tri back to back

Bi's
Standing DB Curls: (55lbx10each)x4

Cable Rope Overhead Ext: (40x8)x3

Shoulder
DB Press: (65x12)x4
Front Raise: (45lb platex8)x3
Rear Lateral cable: (20on sledx10)x3

Overall Workout:
Great workout, didn't go with crazy weight went for more squeeze and pump. Energy was good, still got that clear mind feeling.

Pump:
Thick and full, arms totally swole!

Sweat:
Took off shirt was sweating.

Sides:
Just "clear out the room" gas!

9:30 2 RPM/2 Drive

Switched up my time of consumption, taking it with my yogurt at break to see if stomach issues can be combated!

7:30 3 RPM/2 Drive

Took the pills alittle later tonite, as when I got home from work I ate 1/4 (basically the top half of a half), mash potatoes, and a bunch of carrots. Appetite is definitely up. Hungry freakin' all the time.

9:00 Chest WO

Workout:

Chest
Incline: 135x15, 185x12, 205x10, 235x9, 275x6, 205x8
Decline: (225x10)x4
Flat: (225x10)x3
Flys: (55DBx8)x3

Overall Workout:
Got late so decided to destroy chest, and workout felt really strong. Wanted to do more on inclines but didn't have a spot. Awesome overall chest workout, never tired but strength was slowly diminishing.

Pump:
Freakin' sweet, had striations in upper chest once I got done with the 3rd set of inclines, and still looked full this morning 2/21

Sweat:
Turned on a space heater by my cage, so sweat was good.

Sides:
Slight Diarrhea but not explosive! Still having the worst smelling gas!

So great chest workout, full and pumped. Nice looking striations that appeared near the center of my upper chest that looked really cool especially under a light's shadowing.

But feeling it this morning....bad! Trying not to flex but my chest actually feels fuller than normal this morning. Even moving my arms out to the sides stretches my chest enough to feel the soreness! But its all good, a welcomed soreness from my workout last nite.

Not much to say, had a slight workout for Friday of Back and Legs. But not much time so workout was more of a pump and go.

Pump and strength were good for the workout.

Sides are just bad gas!!!

Doses are still at 2 morning 2 nite of Drive, 1 RPM mornings, 3 RPM before workout.

Upcoming week will be a 6 day workout!

Alrighty so I'm going to go all out this week and get my schedule back down to my 3 and 3 workouts. Sucks as each week something comes up that screws my schedule up. But this week I'm getting everything done as soon and early as possible when I get out of work, and before the wife and kid get home!

So tonite will start Chest/Tri/Delts. Ate pretty decent over the weekend so tonite should show some decent strength gains.

Workout:

Chest
Flat bench:135x15, 225x14, (275x8)x3, 315x5
Incline:185x12, 205x10, (225x8)x3
Decline Fly & immediate press: (55DBx10)x3 with immediate slow rep press each set x8

Tricep
Dips: (Bodyweightx12)x3
Rope Ext:50lb on sledx12, (60x10)x3
Behind Back Press: (50 on sledx10)x3

Delt
Shoulder Press: (65x12)x4
Ez Bar Raises: (80lbx10)x3
Bent Laterals: (25lbx10)x3

Overall Workout:
Where do I begin, great stamina tonite, drive, and just plain feeling it!! Strength through chest was amazing all lifts felt confident and powerful. After knocking out (275x8)x3 I didn't even think I'd be able to incline more than 185-205. Blew out Triceps pretty good, and took it alittle higher reps on delts so no injuries after my chest workout. Usually if I go hard on chest and delts, delts usually are achey for a few days.

Pump:
Ridiculous, chest was booming so much my biceps looked like they were feeling it. Tri's and delts looked great and delts were really full.

Sides:
No diarrhea, just soft serve. But no stomach issues or anything. I think a little yogurt taken with pills in the morning is definitely helping. I do still feel a bit jittery after 3 RPM come workout time.

Insane workout, I felt great and blew through chest like nothing. Just at 4 Drives a day @ 2 and 2. With 1 and 3 of RPM, impressive! I guess I should have stayed at 2 and 2 the whole bottle of Drive. I think that stuff works for me no matter if it is underdosed.

Posted by: Big_Ben Feb 26 2008, 12:57 PM
I guess the only downfall to last nites WO was my dog had a cough all nite, I swear I woke up every freakin' hour, so I hope I got enough rest after that workout to grow.

Chest is sore on flexing, but still a bit full. My upper body looks awesome today.

Ben,

You used the dreaded "Underdosed" word! lol No hard feelings.

Drive is far from underdosed. Think instead that the capsules are just too small. We use effective doses that are backed by science and research. In order to get the user the effective doses of certain ingredients, you have to use multiple caps. There's just no way to make the powder of an effective dose take up less space.

Think about that concept when you see a product that says take 2 caps..... and it contains 20 ingredients.

lol i think what he meant was that "he" is taking less than the recommended dose, and it's still working for him... not that the product is underdosed

Ben wouldn't drop that bomb on purpose

I didn't mean it like the product is underdosed, I'm underdosing it for my bodyweight!!! laugh.gif

I guess I should've explained more.

My underdosing was a good thing, meaning that if the next guy can take Drive without my issues at full strength, I feel there is no limit to what possibilities in natural size can happen. I am very impressed with the product both times I've taken it, where if you eat/lift/and take the products consistantly you will be above impressed with the results. This stack makes Creatine, Arginine, Glutamine, BCAA's, Taurine you name it seem like a thing of the past.

If anything for me, as far as your product goes its overdosed! I can't handle it a full strenght!!!! wink.gif I'm back down to 2 and 2, and it gets better every workout and I'm not even taking the dosage for my bodyweight!!! Which is 1 or 2 brackets up from what I'm at.

2/27

Well I had to put my Boxer down...sucks we took her to the vet Tuesday morning, which the vet said it was a cough. But at her age of 10 which Boxers are expected 9 at the most, I think it was too much for her lungs as by Tuesday nite she was spotting blood when she really had a bad cough. By Wednesday morning she was really not herself, wouldn't eat, drink or even get up for anything. When we went to the doc's in the morning, she had about 15 drips of blood roll out at once on the examination table and that was all I could take.

So ran the normal doses Tuesday, but spent the night with my girl incase it was the last.

Last night I had to get out of the house for a bit so I met up with a friend at the gym.

So,

10:00 2 Drive, 1 RPM

7:00 2 Drive, 3 RPM

Workout: Biceps/Back/Traps

Standing DB curls (Each Side): 35x14, 40x12, 45x10, 55x8
Preacher Machine Curl: 45platex12, 55x12, 60x10, 70x12 spotted last 2
Hammer Rope Cable Curl: (50lbx10)x3

Reverse Grip Pulldown: 70x12, 80x10, (90x8)x2
Hammer Strength Upright Rows: 45esx12, 45es+25esx10, (2(45's ES)x8)x2
Seated Rows Hammer Strength: Basically Weights Reps and Sets

Smith Machine Shrugs(Front and Rear back to back)=[2 45's each sidex15, 1 45 ea side reversedx10] x4

Overall Workout:

Insane pump, getting better every freakin' workout. I'm not at all surprised I've never been let down by this stack. Good energy, in the zone to SFW's, had my MP3 player with me so that was rockin in 1 ear.

Pump: Crazy, arms felt like softballs that only got bigger with each set. Plenty of glares from the other guys in the gym. Haha! Back, traps were on point as well.

Sides: Getting better with dosage, still got the soft serve!! LOL, sorry if its TMI, but I figure I'd put it for others incase they were freaked. The first time I took this stack I was, I thought I had a stomach bug or food poisoning.

So the gym was exactly what I needed tonite, I know Ginger was right there watching me and she's happy I was doing what I was.

Rest up girl, our time will come again.

RIP Ginger 1998-2008

sorry to hear that man, I had a golden lab that passed a couple years ago... he was 15 and struggling for a while, and when i came home one day he was just laying on the ground lookin at me, and when i walked over he licked my hand once and then died right there... almost like he was holding it off just long enough to say goodbye

shit sucked

Sorry to hear that about your dog. I dunno exactly what i'll do when my dog reaches that point. almost 8 now, but his breed lives into their teens, so i've got a while

9:30 1 RPM/2 Drive

Feeling good this morning, back and bi are feeling full. Back is incredibly sore, those Hammer Strength machines are the shizzz!

5:30 3 RPM/2 Drive

6:30 Workout!

Workout:

Legs

Leg Press: 1plate(es)x15, 2platesx12, 3platesx12, 4platesx12, 5platesx10, (platesx8)x2
Leg Extension: (120x12)x4
Leg Curl: (110x12)x4

Calve raises on Leg Press: (4plates(es)x15)x4

Overall Workout:
Great workout, legs were feeling hot. Semi took it easy after the quick workout last week. Figured I should still walk on Friday! Had plenty of energy, was pumped to hit legs in a gym!

Pump:
Quick, and lasting. Amazing how swollen muscles are getting and feeling now.

Sweat:
Great, not crazy like in the summer but good for winter.

Sides:
Just the usual soft stool but fine.

One thing I did after workout was run on the track the gym had for a 1/2 mile, then got into their huge ass hot tub to relax my back some....freakin' mistake yeah my back feels better but man I felt over heated big time. I got home and took a cold ass shower. Not sure if it was the mix of running and the heat plus the RPM or what but I felt like crap! Just tired and out of it, and overheated. I would watch out for body temp if you plan to relax in a hot tub after! I did notice I got pretty f-ing hot feeling in the tub.

So was a good workout week for how I'm feeling during the workouts. I can really tell a difference in the pumps I get and even how I feel repping out the weight almost like a switch turned on. Tonite(Friday) I'll do chest/tri/delt starting with inclines.

Also thanks for the condolences, I am having a pretty tough time with the loss. Ginger has been with me and my wife since 1 year after we started dating, and through probably the best years of my life. Right now its hard to come home after work, since I get home before my wife I usually take care of feeding the dogs and seeing them first, letting them out and such.

Wauslee is right, Boxers are great. If I could have cloned Ginger I'd do it all over again. Very family protective, but they do warm up to strangers very quick. You learn they like to intimidate strangers but you gotta tell them to give it right back and the dog actually seems to respect them for it. They do love to box, theres no doubt about that one. They are alot of fun, I doubt I'll go for very long without another.

Sorry to hear of your loss Movin, I was hating thinking if someday I'd come home to find Ginger like that. I'd hate to be put in that situation as well.

But the good times out weigh this bad. And thats what makes the bad feelings go quickly.

Later fellas, have a good weekend. I'm OUT!

You going to the arnolds this weekend?

Posted by: Vitruvian Mar 4 2008, 05:31 PM
Missed you at the AC Ben!

Terribly sorry to hear about your dog man..... I've been there before and it's one of the hardest things a person has to decide. But all in all, it's the proper and unselfish decision. A dog goes through his life and in the big scheme of things never does anything wrong- Just think.... if a flawed human can get to heaven, every dog has a first class ticket just for being a dog.

sorry to hear about you're dog dude. my parents had a kennel growing up and it is tuff loosing a dog .my mom put her dog down a 2 yrs ago and it was hard for me i loved that dog. what made it harder she had that dog when my dad was still alive he died in 1995

Yeah I wanted to go Vitruvian, but figured I should spend the weekend with my wife. That and it snowed like a m-fer here on Friday, then Monday it was almost gone and 51 degrees I washed my truck and my wife's car that day, now today we're covered again and below freezing and my truck is probably caked with salt after the ride to work..... mad.gif

Sounds like it was a great show, and the expo was kicking out the free stuff. That really blows...for me atleast! Next year for sure, Savannah will be almost 2 so I can probably carry her along!

3/4

9:30 2 Drive/1 RPM

Wide awake and feeling hot 1 hr after.

7:00 2 Drive/3 RPM

8:00 Ready to kick some ass!

Workout:

Chest

Flat bench: 135x15, 225x12, (275x10)x3, 225x8, 185x10
Inclines: 185x12, 205x10, (225x8)x2
Decline Fly w/Press: Same as before

Decided to call it a nite, I had some shit around the house that needed to be done.
And Arms/shoulders sounded good for tonite, I was happy enough with the flat bench I figured I'd throw down some protein/carbs for repair.

Overall Workout:
I loved it, feeling great going into the workout thanks to RPM smacking me with the boost. Not sure if I've ever done 275x10's, and still got good reps on incline bench. Decline flys felt awesome as well and just added more to my pump!

Pump:
Looked freakin' sweet, one of these nights I'll get Sandy to snap some pics. Usually she's busy with the baby since shes crawling now. But Pump was full and felt amazing. Once I got up to 275, my chest felt awesome and looked it too. And stayed full, I couldn't help but flex after almost every set!

Sweat:
Good, ran the space heater and by inclines I was leaving back marks on the bench.

Sides:
None.

So awesome workout tonite, I'm happy to say the least! biggrin.gif

3/6-7

Missed both nights for workouts, my wife's car took a shit on Wednesday so both nights were spent on working on that thing.

$220 later, its running. Had to replace an alternator and a battery. Chevy Lumina's are the most pain in the ass car I've ever worked on. The engine is turned 90 degrees clockwise, so the alternator is a bitch to the bolts, and the batter is under the window washer fluid resevoir with the terminals right up against the air filter box. Then the piece that holds the battery down was a pain, I can't believe someone designed it that way.

And the thanks I get....I'm on my way to work this morning and happen to see the gas gauge reading 0. mad.gif

Oh well, I'll update on Monday from tonites and Saturdays workouts.

Tonite is going to have to be arms/back, and legs/chest pump tomorrow.

Posted by: Big_Ben Mar 10 2008, 02:15 PM
3/7

Worked arms tonite, biceps/triceps back to back and then shoulders.

Pumping up nicely, didn't go too nuts as it was Friday nite, so ran through 3 exercises for each part. Warmer here today, noticed that I sweat more than usual.

Saturday, ran through Back and Legs.

Sunday: 225x18, from off topic thread just wanted to walk down and see what I could get just without any notice. Chest was pumped pretty good after this and it was a few hours after my weekend Drive.

Again nice pumps and energy, nothing too special with weights for Fri/Sat. Kind of a pump workout.

Both days great workouts, but being the weekend I was rushed so more of pumping movements and not strength.

3/10

9:30 2 Drive/1 RPM = Woke up and working my ass off!

8:00 2 Drive/3RPM

9:00 Workout

Chest
Flat bench: 135x15, 225x12, (275x10)x3, 315x4
Inclines: 185x14, 205x10, (225x8)x2, 185x10
Flys: Used door bands for this 2 sets lower, 2 sets upper

Delts:
DB Presses
Side Laterals
Bent over Laterals

Overall Workout:
Still feeling amped from 3 RPM's, I don't feel jittery though which is good. Workout was great, still busting out 3 sets of 10 on 275 and getting better.

Pump:
Hard, but I think I could've drank more water today..way too busy at work.

Sweat:
Drips on my brow, back was wet.

Another one for the books, got late I had to watch Savannah for a bit so I'm adding tri's to bi's tonite.

Freakin' impressed as hell getting 275x10's, and still having the gas to hit 225 on inclines. I'd like to hit up 275 inclines but definitely need a spot for that. Hell even 315 on flat feels dangerous but I know I can get them.

11:00 3 Drive/1 RPM

Knocking it up a bit, just made sure to have ate something first.

2:30 feeling good, alittle heartburn but probably from my pork chop at lunch.

6:00 3 Drive/3 RPM

Got started alittle late so decided to work Bi's and Tri's, theres a bad ass workout by Charles Clairmonte in the newest FLEX mag I'm trying out.

Workout:

Bi's

Ez Bar Curls(inside grip): 60x15, (75x15)x4
DB Preacher Curls: (45x10)x3
Hammer Rope Curls: (40x12)x3
Clairmonte DB Curls: (40x8)x3

Tri's

Pressdowns: 40x18, 50x14, 60x12, 70x10, 80x8
Skull Crushers: (75x10)x3
Rope Overhead Ext: (40x10)x3
Dips: 12x4

Overall Workout:
Killer freaking bicep workout, when all out for pump on tri's to pull some blood out of my biceps!!! Arms looked monsterous tonite, energy was pushing me for more, I probably sounded like a grizzly bear awoken from its winter slumber!!!

Pump:
Amazing, and lasts for hours afterwards. Could feel my arms swell after the first working set.

Sweat:
Getting more intense as the outside temps climb, not drenched like summer but brow dripping and back is dripping in the basement!!

Sides:
None

Great workout, this months FLEX is pretty awesome has Johnnie Jackson on the front. Check out the Charles Clairmonte article cool!!!

3/12

9:30 3 Drive/1RPM

Still feeling okay with 3 Drives

6:30 3 Drive/3 RPM

8:00 Workout

Back

Underhand Grip Pulldowns
Standing T-Bar Rows(awesome!! just like the pro's do!)
Seated Rows
Pull ups

Standing T-Bar Row Shrugs(new exercise!)
Shrugs with superset DB's

Overall Workout:
Awesome back workout tonite, got my T-Bar from the store last weekend so going full tilt now on the barbell rows and loving it. RPM's got me amped again tonite, feeling it.

Pump:
Great, I could feel my lats turn from feeling like rubber to condensed. Traps blew up quickly.

Sweat:
All good, brow and back

Sides:
None, alittle sleeplessness tonite.

9:30 3 DRIVE/ 1 RPM

Felt sick after dosage may drop to 2 mornings/3 afternoon of Drive.

6:30 3 Drive/3 RPM

Workout:

Legs

Squats
Extensions
Curls

Calve Raises

Overall Workout:
Great workout, felt sick until lunch but went away. Energy up, feeling buzzed.

Pump:
Legs pumped quickly, for some reason legs seem to heat up also when pumped. Weird...

Sweat:
Great, not sheeting off but definitely sweating pretty good.

Sides:
Just upset stomach this morning.

Good leg workout, didn't have much time as the wife went swimming so I had to cut alittle short to watch Savannah.

So far making steady good gains, alot of workouts are feeling easier and reps are more confident. Great stack!!

3/18

Had my finishing of my root canal yesterday with dentist so took Monday off.

9:30 2 Drive/ 1 RPM

Had stomach issues with 3 in the morning, so its gonna be 2 and 3 morning and night.

No issues with 2 in the morning.

Tonite is chest, can't wait to see how strength goes especially after my dentist visit. May tell what happened back in Feb with my initial visit. I hope not effected though 275x10 is getting stronger and stronger.

Did my regular workout, and strength was down flats were 275x8's so not down too much.

Was training Tri's after chest, got through pressdowns and jumped into skull crushers. My 8th rep my wrist popped and sounded like a gun went off!

Stopped and let it rest.

Overall chest was decent compared to the initial post dental visit, reps were down 2 reps a set but never just felt like it gave out. So thats alot better than last time.

Now I'm wondering if I had cycled L-Leucine for too long before, but still could be the novacaine from the dentist and nerve receptors?....

3/19

Worked arms and delts tonite, following same workout from FLEX's Clairmonte article:

Ez bar Curls: 4setsx15 (working sets)
Standing DB curls: 3x10
Hammer Curls: 3x10
Clairmonte Curls: 3x10

(Bi's and Tri's back to back)

Pressdowns: 4x12
Skull Crushers: 3x10
Overhead Ext: 3x8
Dips: 3x12

Shoulder Press: 4x12
Side Laterals: 3x10
Bent Over Laterals: 3x10

Overall Workout:
Great energy, mad pumps, arms looked ridiculus. Plenty of focus, alittle light headed probably from RPM kick.

Haven't much time to post this week, tonite is Back/Traps.

Sorry no pics yet, usually I try to get a few but the wife has been busy with our daughter....will be trying to get a break soon and atleast get a pic after one of these workouts.

Right now I think I'm about 1/2 way through my second bottle of Drive. Definitely hasn't felt like its let up at all, and I'm feeling stronger every workout. Also I've never felt the need to go over 3 pills of RPM Pre-Workout, usually I up the dose of a caffeine like supplement after so long. With RPM I don't feel like I'm getting used to the feeling once it kicks in. Even 1 RPM in the morning boosts how I feel, which is like having 1-2 cups of some strong coffee.

I'd really like to run Drive higher than 4 a day, I should be at 7 or 8 I think with my bodyweight. But even bumping to 3 and 3 started giving me alittle bit of an issue. Still with 2/2 I'm gaining no matter what, I don't think I've ever felt this strong on bench without something hormonal and then carrying over to incline benches I feel a ton stronger and not like the muscle is tiring. Pumps feel unreal, like the muscle just gets pressurized, and it doesn't take long before it swells then once it does it stays about the same for my whole workout. Say with chest, I go through Tris and Delts and my chest is still pumped like I got done benching.

I've probably said this before but I think Drive/RPM would rock between cycles, and if you chose not to go with prohormones this stack is your best bet out of all the natural stuff I've tried. Maybe even Drive alone if you don't want the extra kick from RPM.

Well seriously need to get back now....

Back day:

Pulldowns
Bent Rows
Seated Rows
Pullups

Cable T-Bar Shrugs
DB Shrugs

Great performance & Pump

3/21

Legs:

Hack Squats
Squats
Extensions
Curls

Calve BB raises

Great day for legs, another warming feeling pump. No sides.

3/24

9:30 2 Drive/1 RPM

7:00 3 Drive/2 RPM

Chest

Incline: 135x15, 185x12, 205x10, 225x10, 275x7, NEW PR 300x1, 275x8, 225x10
Flat Bench: 225x10, (275x6)x3
Flys w/Decline superset: 3 sets of 10
Push ups: 2sets of 20 = finish pump for some major flexing! wink.gif

Overall Workout:

Just killed chest tonite as it was a busy nite with Savannah. Felt F-ing sweet going into the workout, but was paying for Easter's massive amounts of food I don't usually eat.....Got 300x1, but think I could have gotten 2-3 but didn't have a spot so I didn't want to push it as I was happy enough with 1 after hitting 275. Then after feeling 300, 275 definitely felt lighter plus I took a few minutes to recoop after.

Pump: Felt awesome, chest looked full and round, strong as hell tonite.

Sweat: Not bad, and getting better with the spring temps.

Sides: None, some Easter dinner shits but not from Drive.

New PR tonite, I feel great and strength is rising each week between numbers, reps, and form.

Not only the new PR but inclines are slowly catching flat bench, which has never been this close.

And again I cannot stress how well you feel mood, strength, and pump on this stack. Stay consistent with food, training, & recovery and results will definitely come.

Yo Ben, readin up on your log here. Would this be something youd recommend for a stack post cycle? Thinkin bout throwing this up after my Havocs done.

Oh Hellz yes dude!!! I just hit a 300lb incline press that I've never done before, and that was at the top of my pyramid. I would have gone for a couple more but I didn't have a spot so I didn't want to get stuck.

I'm very happy with my results, been gaining strength and the pumps are pretty bad ass. The pumps are pretty intense, I love it. Hitting PR's and reps are getting easier each workout it seems. I've been eating like a horse lately and not gaining any excess fat as well.

I'd recommend this stuff to anyone looking to make gains. My stomach issues are kind of a bump in the road, but the good definitely overweighs the bad big time. Sometimes the RPM gets alittle intense, but not as bad as the old Ephedra burners. It seems to be more of a body buzz but you don't crash or feel like your hearts gonna explode. Most of the time it just pushes me to work even harder, and produces more stamina.

Could you run this stack during pct or would you do it after? I'm wondering the same thing for after my ergo/methyl-e cycle.

Excellent, Thank You.

3/25

9:30 2 Drive/1 RPM

7:30 3 Drive/2 RPM

ARMs:

BB Curls: 65x14, 95x10, (115x8)x2, 125x5, 95x8
Preacher Curl
DB Standing Curls
Cable Hammer

Pressdowns
Skull Crushers
Rope Ext
Dips

Delts

DB seated Press
Front raises w/EZ Bar
Bent Laterals

Overall Workout:
Awesome workout again, 125x5 felt f-ing sweet. Took long negs on each rep, and smooth positives. Pressdowns were getting up, more reps & more weight. Its a constant battle with this stack, each week is a new PR either with weight or reps. Clear mind, and a Grizzly mentality.

Pump:
Arms were full freakin' blown. Won't be long and I'll have to take another measurement. Veins were popping out big time...I'm almost scared of seeing them when I cut.

Sweat:
Still not as good as a summer workout, but wet.

3/26

Same dosing

Workout:
Back

Deadlifts
Bent BB row
Seated Tbar row

Traps

Cable shrugs with Ez Bar Attachment
BB Shrugs

Overall Workout:
Haven't done Deads in awhile so I added them in, wow....felt awesome but man my hammies were blown by the end. Didn't want to stop though thanks to RPM!

Pump:
Great, back felt really full. Even hamstrings were tight.

Sweat:
Great, back was rolling with sweat.

Good workout tonite, Deads kicked my fucking ass. I guess thats what I get for not throwing them in more often but I hate doing them before leg day. Oh well, I'm sore today and loving it. smile.gif

Yup, I'd run it both times. With and after till your next cycle if you can afford it, and if it is necessary.....I haven't ran anything hormonal for a year since I've been gaining pretty well off Drive/RPM. Great stack.

Great log Ben. I am getting a sample thanks to Vitruvian.

Ben, I weigh 240lbs. How much do you weigh and how many pills of RPM do you take? I know you are a big guy like I am...

thanks

Man from following your log after my JW run that im doing right now i'm tempted to just run this stack. I was thinking of doing a havoc run after jw but I think I might just run this stack for the summer. Do you really feel as if the supps are helping a lot? I know you eat a lot too, and i know how much food plays into lifting so do you ever feel like its just that?

Joe, I am just taking 1 in the morning and 2 or 3 preWO. If I go over 3 I get too amped up, but I don't seem to have a tolerance for caffeine.

I am weighing 218 at the moment, so at 240 you may want to take more. Just take it easy at first, you can always take more pills if you don't feel it right off. I made the mistake of doing 4 and 1 my first time and was so amped up even the music I play during my workout was driving me more. I had to take a couple breathers and tone down my music.

Chris, I'd say its the stack bro. The pumps never feel like this good when I'm off it, nor does my strength just jump usually within a few weeks. Drive/RPM are great products, and I highly recommend them. I'd say give them a try, I'm very happy with the results I get.

The crazy part is I'm not even running them at full dosage!!! So if you can do full dosage you may even gain better than me.

Still gotta eat though, I noticed on 3/31 if I slacked on eating or didn't get as much as I usually do before a workout my muscles did feel alittle cramped.

This log is pretty sweet man, keep up the great work

btw are you running a bottle of drive/rpm or 2 of each for this log?

3/31

9:30 2 Drive/1 RPM

Drank a ton of water today, not sure if its just dispertion or what, but RPM is kicking today.

7:30 3 Drive/2 RPM

Started OT at work today so food intake has been kinda messy.

8:30 Workout

So since I'm feeling kind of weak without running OT on low food I'm going for high reps tonite.

Chest:

Flat Bench: 135x15, (225x15)x4
Incline Bench: (185x15)x4
Decline Flys w/ superset Decline Bench: (55DBx10each)x4
Pushups (final lasting pump): 4 sets of 20, 2 flat & 2 legs raised

Time up!

Overall Workout:
High reps = sweet pump, feeling it all over tonite. Walked up stairs and my wife said, "You look all muscley!!!" Haha, exactly what I wanted. The low food today made my muscles feel cramped getting near end of sets. Sucks but pump was awesome. Next week chest will be running at 315.

Pump:
Ridiculous, looked big all over even my traps looked bulged. And with the final pushups my pump lasted forever it seemed.

Sweat:
Good tonite, more reps = more sweat. Shower time post workout!

Great mental clarity tonite, had to cut off at chest to help out my wife with our daughter. She's getting mobile! But with OT at work I really wanted to keep the workout short but push the muscle to the brink which felt great.

4/1

9:30 2 Drive/1 RPM

8:00 2 Drive/3 RPM

Switched up dosage to see if I can feel a difference. Was more amped for sure, I actually think I like 3/2 better, as I did feel alittle sick after workout.

Arms/Delts:

Standing DB Curls: Warmup, (55DBx12 each arm)x3
Tricep Rope Extensions: Warmup, (60x12)x3

EZ Bar Curls (outside grip): (85x12)x3
EZ Bar Extensions: (70x12)x3

Ez Bar Curls (inside grip): Same
Skull Crushers: Same

Seated and Standing Shoulder Presses: (55x15)x4
Front Raises: (45lb platex10)x4
1 arm Bent over Laterals w/cable: (20lbsx10)x3

Overall Workout:
Went with the higher rep, ate alittle more today but not enough! Good pump, amped to smash weights. I can tell a difference between 2 RPM and 3 RPM, I do like 3 better but I feel better with the other combo. I may actually get a better pump with 3 DRIVEs, but wanna push more weight with 3 RPMs.

Pump:
Great, arms felt heavy upon finishing workout.

Sweat:
Not too crazy tonite, but the outside temp dipped to 34 degrees today so expected.

Sides:
Alittle upset stomach, and not diarrhea but close after workout.

So another arm workout in the books, gotta get to measuring and take some pics here soon.
