What is Golden FinisH ? Golden FinisH: Optimized Postworkout Recovery Complex ![]() ![]() Key Attributes: - Nutrient Rich - Rapid Absorption - Precisely Flavored - Clinically Proven Anabolic Enzyme System - Sugar Free - 14g BCAA / EAA Per Serving - Aminogen and Carbogen - Optimal Growth, Nutrient Timing, and Amino Acid Assimilation - Enhanced Insulin Regulation - Muscle Glycogen Replenishment The perfect FinisH to your intense workout, Golden FinisH has been formulated specifically for the serious athlete. Research and development indicates that this nutrient rich formula will aid recovery and help stabilize blood sugar levels to avoid the post-workout "crash". By shuttling nutrients, electrolytes, and amino acids into muscle cells we are able to stimulate muscle groups more often for optimal growth. Golden Protein Complex: With Hydrolyzed Whey and Whey Isolate providing immediate and sustained amino acid delivery, we enhanced this complex with additional Leucine (the anabolic trigger). With Dicalcium Phosphate from our GFH Complex, the result is a mild tasting, highly effective, optimal recovery product that is easy on the stomach, and doesn't break the bank. Anabolic Enzyme System: To take this recovery and growth formula to the next level, we included the clinically proven anabolic enzyme system Aminogen and Carbogen. The result is more efficient utilization of key nutrients during the key post-workout recovery window, helping to trigger anabolism legally and naturally. CoriCARB and Inulin for Nutrient Shuttling and Enhanced Insulin Regulation: Our unique and proprietary sugar-free blend of premium, nutrient rich carbohydrate sources enhanced with Inulin will help the serious athlete replenish muscle glycogen and help shuttle amino acids / nutrients into the muscles while blood flow is optimal without the post-workout "crash" associated with other products on the market. GFH Complex: For optimal post-workout cellular anabolism, look no further than our GFH Complex. We included crucial Electrolytes and Taurine to work in synergy, keeping your muscles in an anabolic state at the cellular level and for as long as possible. As a bonus, it appears that this complex may even help reduce muscle cramping and unnecessary soreness. FinisH every workout with Golden FinisH !!

awesome nice to see a new product out by you guys.. is there going to be samples sent?

That's my point, one month. You could grab some whey, carbs, and extra BCAA's in bulk and it will last you over 3 months..I'm not trying to start an E-fight, just saying that I hope it's not too expensive

i agree CL supplements are known for being months worth at a time...my PW lasts over 3 months . Why the sudden change to not be way above the rest of the companies? |

Just as long as it doesn't taste like a Golden Finish. These are expensive products to produce hence why you only see a month's supply. If they made a 2 or 3 month supply the product would cost well over $100 and would be hard to move. So is it a Pina Colada flavor? It's hard to judge from the label but that's what it appears to me. I'm wary of the flavoring of these type of products. Hydroslates just don't taste good so it's hard to flavor products of this nature. I've been using Torrent nad it's ok but I need a change of pace. I was considering IntraBolic but now will consider this too. Seems like no company offers sample packets for these products. So I have to wait for others to review the flavor as I'm a bit picky. I don't suppose there will be any samples?

Where did those reviews come from?
Posted by: rich_55 Jan 4 2008, 12:18 PM
Nice, I am looking forward to trying this very soon! I too will just bump up my postworkout meal to within an hour of my workout and make it a tad larger.

Thanks for that review. Not much description regarding effects of the product but I guess that will probably follow. Not a fan of Pina Colada so I'll probably pass on the product at least for now. Of course if feedback is overwhelmingly positive I'll have to give it a try.

I took my first 3 scoops of Golden Finish last night after my back workout followed by cardio. TASTE: Good tropical/fruity flavor. I was pleasantly surprised after the mixed reviews. A little grainy, but oh well. EFFECTS: IMMEDIATELY picked me up after a hard workout. I felt noticeably rejuvenated within minutes, which was almost kinda strange. My client who picked some up for her contest prep said the same thing. Leg day on Thursday will be a good test here as I typically have to lay on the ground for 15 minutes afterwards and then sit for another 15 before moving around due to nauseau/exhaustion. OTHER: Take into consideration that this protein is HYDROLYZED or pre-digested for optimal uptake. Add in an extra 5 g of Leucine, an ideal mix of carbs, taurine, L-Phenylalanine, etc. and it certainly is a great PWO drink. I slammed this immediately after my workout and then simply at a bigger postworkout meal an hour later with steak, brown rice and broccoli. Typcially, I had to wait 2 hours.

I began sipping my Golden FinisH after a grueling leg workout and within 5-10 minutes I was hobbling around the gym with only a slight light-headed feeling. ROCK ON!! Poor ole James (my training partner) stayed in the locker room sipping on his waxy maize starch and whey talking about getting sick, feeling extreme low blood sugar and really just wanting to sleep. He stayed down on that bench for a while. I went upstairs and started training clients. |

No, I like it right away. I like fruity tasting postworkout shakes rather than chocolate types. The texture is a little grainy.
