Posted by: scalato23 Aug 28 2007, 05:59 PM
Typically last dose of Leviathan is taken around 1:30 - 2:30 in the afternoon.

This afternoon I did a kick ass class called Body Burn and almost threw up twice. It's a real ass kicker and will now be a staple addition to my cardio. Gonna try and get shredded this time around.

6.5 speed
265 calories burned according to the machine

Supplementation same as usual.

Rest day due to work and the first day of college ball. Didn't cheat and also didn't eat as much as I usually do. I probably ate 2 meals less than usual so I was absolutely starving this (Sunday) morning. Sleep has gotten better. Interesting that I slept VERY well Friday night after a very nice cheat meal. hmmmm.

It's the only real way to make changes and it also helps to see how effective these supplements really are. THanks man.

Monday morning, September 10

Sorry for not updating over the weekend...Friday was a crazy day and then I surprised the fiancee with a quick overnight trip to Jacksonville for the football game Sunday. Needless to say, I still worked out Friday, took off Saturday/Sunday although we did quite a bit of walking and didn't really cheat too bad. I still took all supps. as directed. So basically, it was two days off and I'll be hitting it hard this morning.

good job scalato..

how is the energy/feeling from Leviathan....feeling the Beta alanine kick in yet?..

Posted by: scalato23 Sep 17 2007, 02:56 PM
You know, I've been trying to see if I notice anything and there really is nothing measurable or a noticeable difference when I take it. I DO notice however that I tend to get warm and start sweating within my first 2 exercises though. Again, it could be working but I don't think I'm a big responder (at least noticeably) to those types of things. I'll keep you posted though.

Good work bro, I've been following your log a bit.

As far as results from these supps, I wouldn't say they're dramatic, but pretty decent. The Leviathan seems to provide a positive feeling and some energy...but I can't deal with the swamp-ass anymore.

I hear ya. After I'm done with these supps. I'll have to throw my gym shorts out because they don't even smell that clean anymore after washing. A couple of shirts are the same way!!!

3 Leviathan upon waking
4 Incarnate with breakfast

4 Incarnate PWO with shake

2 Leviathan mid-afternoon

Well, this entire week I have been feeling nauseous somewhat early on in the workout and it stays with me throughout the entire workout. But today, I almost lost it soon after I ended my workout. Couple of heaves but nothing major. I know my intensity has increased as well as my weights (increased dramatically) but the fact that it is early in the workout and has persisted all week has me wondering what's up? I haven't changed anything else I have been doing except upping the Incarnate for a few days and Leviathan starting yesterday.

Legs
Nautilus leg press
Lying iso cable ham curl
Leg extension
Calf press

Shoulders
Nautilus press
Seated side dbell raise
Front cable raise
Shrugs

Diet was pretty screwy today as I just wasn't hungry sad.gif

Meal 1
1 cup oats, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 scoop EAS

Meal 2
PWO

Meal 3 (about an hour later than usual - 1:00pm)
Large grilled chicken salad with no dressing from Longhorn
Cup of chili
Slice of wheat bread

Meal 4 (eating now at 7:30pm but not even hungry)
8 oz. steak with asparagus

Meal 5 (will have before bed)
1.5 scoops casein

If you've been following my journal you'll see that I completely missed a meal and still didn't feel hungry sad.gif Maybe just a fluke day I guess???

Saturday, September 22

3 Leviathan upon waking
4 Incarnate with breakfast

4 Incarnate in the afternoon

2 Leviathan mid-afternoon

Day off from the gym but still got some leg and cardio exercise in.

I work at an apartment complex and today delivered event notices to most of the units. I went to 26 buildings with each building having 3 stories and 2 sides to every building so needless to say, I worked my quads and hams.

This evening I went to a park that has many lined soccer fields and did various sprints, suicides, etc. Felt great and entire shirt was soaked.

BUT, my appetite has completely disappeared and I am having about 3-4 more bowel movements per day than usual. Not sure what the hell is going well but I'm not enjoying it. I ate all my meals today but pretty much had to force them down. It seems as if my metabolism has completely stopped (that's why I did extra cardio today to try and get it going).

Sunday, Septmber 23rd

3 Leviathan upon waking
4 Incarnate with breakfast

4 Incarnate in the afternoon

2 Leviathan mid-afternoon

Another rest day from the gym. Calves and hams are VERY tight after yesterday's stairs "workout" and field workout.

This morning did some cardio with the fiancee. Walked 1 mile, HIIT 1 mile, and walked another mile. We walk at about a 4.6 mph pace.

Appetite is s-l-o-w-l-y coming back but still not where it was or where I want it to be. Diet was good today, no cheating but definitely not eating the same amount.

Wednesday, September 27

I know, I know, it's been a couple of days but went out of town again for a quick trip to visit the fiancee's grandfather. Still managed to get a workout in yesterday and did cardio both mornings. Diet wasn't like I usually eat but never really cheated and didn't eat my usual macros (everything less). Can't wait for a little bit of normalcy.

Oh yeah, supplementation was the same.

It was nice to get back to a normal day of eating, pill-popping, and SFW.

Squat

Diet was spot on as well and the hunger was back in full effect.

Went to the park in the afternoon for some HIIT with the fiancee. I had her do the football-type drills with me. Although I did not go as hard or as long as I would've liked, it was still a great cardio session. She enjoyed it as well smile.gif

Monday, October 1

Supplementation as previously stated.

Well, I think I have come to the conclusion that the NO-Xplode is what is making me nauseous. I've been playing around with it and unfortunately that may be the case. I have about 2 more servings left so all is not lost.

As far as the workout today, very weird. Intensity was there and I pushed hard but I really did not break a sweat at all and yes the AC was at the usual temp. I say this because I've been working up a pretty good sweat during my workout.

Chest
Incline dbell
Decline smith press
Pec Dec
Push-ups in various positions

Tris
V-bar pushdown
Close-grip bench
Iso rev. pulldown
Overhead cable ez bar press

Pissed off because my fish tasted a bit "off" this afternoon so for my 3pm meal all I really had was just veggies. Friggin' starvin right now and can't leave work to get anything sad.gif

BTW, when will everyone be done with their testing??

Shoulders
Std. dbell press

Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! Laid down to a warm-up set on flat dbell press. On number three I felt a twinge in my back right between the shoulder blades. Pinched a damn nerve that limits my neck mobility and makes various exercises difficult to do. I did continue to do chest/tris but went lighter and did different than usual exercises.

Supplementation and diet were spot on. Just really pissed off and I may have to take the day off tomorrow sad.gif

Wednesday, October 10

Supplementation as previously stated for the last time sad.gif I am out of Leviathan (sniff sniff)

Lat Pulldown
Seated cable v-bar row
Straight bar pressdown
Pull-ups

Close grip ez bar curl
Seated dbell curls
Reverse grip cable curls

Yes, it is true, I have run out of Leviathan. I will continue to run the Incarnate and monitor any changes from not taking the Leviathan over the next few days. My guess: I will probably sweat less and cool down quicker. We shall see.

Saturday, October 13

Supplementation now stands:

6:45am 4 Incarnate
2 Now Multi

8:45am 4 Incarnate w/ PWO

Noon 2 Veggie Juice Plus caps

3pm 2 Fruit Juice Plus caps

I have noticed the two previous days being off of Leviathan that I am not really sweating all that much during my workouts as I had previously. Today was a typical day off and tomorrow will be a cardio day.

Monday, October 15

Supplementation will be as previously stated.

Yesterday did 3 miles of cardio with the fiancee and it was somewhat of a cheat day. Went to a little festival and we shared a funnel cake and a slice of pizza and I also had 2 Goop Dogs (kind of a sloppy joe, chili, melted cheese mixture in a hot dog bun). I also made healthy nachos during the NE-Dal game and we had a little ice cream. First real cheat day in a while where we ate like that. Felt a little fat this morning but have had plenty of BM and feel back to normal.

Workout went great this morning, loads of intensity and sweat!!!

V-bar pulldown 3x8 (160)
EZ bar bent over row 3x8 (115)
Wide-grip seated cable row 3x8 (200)
Super pullover 3x8 (145)

Wide grip ez bar curl 3x8 (95)
Seated dbell hammer 3x8 (35)
Dbell preacher 3x8 (35)

Short on time so I wasn't able to do another bi exercise.

TUesday, October 15

Supplementation as previously stated. Weights were a little downtoday for some reason. Come to think of it, progress on lifts have seem to have stalled out. Possible result of stopping the leviathan???

Flat dbell
Incline smith
Decline flye
Push-ups and dips

Rope pulldown
Skulls
Reverse Iso cable pulldowns

Also did the usual TUesday class at 1pm and it kicked my ass. Great cardio and all-around body workout.

I am nearing the end of the Incarnate and I am ready for a brief break. My body is sore and achy in the muscles and joints, I've been trying new supps. for awhile now and i haven't taken a break in a bit either.

With that bein said, I will be training with a trainer on Friday as he is unbelievable in his own workouts and then go for maybe another week. Planning on break probbaly first week of November.

Saturday, October 20

Rest day today as I worked and then went to the UCF game with my dad.

Well, I have a brand spanking new diet. I will be staggering my carb days with lower carb days and actually including another protein shake throughout the day in addition to more fruit. Once I get it going, probably Tuesday, I will post it.

By the way, just got my tickets to the Jax-Indy game Monday night!!! Woo Hoo

October 27, 2007 (Saturday)

Well, I have been taking a couple of extra days off here and there but still lifting and eating extremely cleanly. I am doing this to allow my body to recuperate from the intense, heavy lifting and HIIT cardio that I have been putting my body through. I have also only been taking my multi and the Fruit and Veggie Plus supplements. Trying to clear my body of any excess and extra supplements that I have been taking over the past few months. I feel very good and not to be conceited, but look so much better than almost a year ago when I went on 2 bulks back-to-back. I will post final weight and bf % numbers on Monday smile.gif Pics will be coming as soon as the camera is fixed sad.gif

I do want to thank Palo Alto Labs for allowing me to compete and utilize their products. I know that I will not win as I am sure others on other boards have used "extra" help, but it's all good to me. These two products were absoloutely great and I recommend, if you have the money, to give it a run. The Leviathan definitely raised my core temp. and had me sweating like a fat man running the Boston Marathon. Shirt was usually halfway drenched in about 20 minutes.

My strength went up pretty much all the way the review, even though I was running a caloric deficit and cutting. I was VERY impressed all the way around. Thank you again.

Dude, your "before" pics were from August 24th...I thought this was a TWO month contest. Shit, if I'd have known it was like this, I'd have kept taking Leviathan for 3 months and taken my pics after another month's worth of gains too.

EDIT: Sorry if that sounded bitter. You're a good dude from what I can tell Scalato and you made great progress. Just sayin, y'know...

Me or Scalato? I did...in my PAL thread.

So sorry I haven't posted pics yet. If that disqualifies me from the contest I accept that but I have had numerous things happen over the past 2-3 weeks that I haven't really had much free time lately to take and post pics. In addition, we all know that there were others on this stack who were taking extra supps. as well that will more than likely win (from other boards). But again, I do apologize and should be able to post them tomorrow (Tuesday). smile.gif

Just took pics and they'll be up in about 30 minutes.

STARTING VITALS
Age: 30
Height: 5'9
Weight: 178
BF %: 14.5

ENDING VITALS
Age: 30
Height: 5'9
Weight: 168
BF %: 11

While it has taken me quite some time to post these pics, I have pretty much maintained my results from the testing of the supps. Also wanted to note that I am currently only taking a Multi and just started talking Super EPA. I wanted to give my body some time to get back to its normal rhythms and will be starting a new program in January.

Here they are:

Still don't know how to attach and make pictures show up in threads so this will have to do. Appreciate any comments and yes I know, time to gain some muscle mass and work on the bis.
