Dear Bulk,

I'm very eager to start capping my own powders. But i see, that all the caps you're selling contain 'Beef gelatin' .

Yours truly is a vegatarian.
Hold on, I can almost feel the contempteous looks already. "What is he bitchin about . . . " . Yes true, But I would like to add that there has been a significant scare in these parts for mad cow disease. (Creutzfeld-Jacob syndrome) . There have been a few cases in my country where body builders who had injected cow procured supplements contracted the illnes.

Hence my initial caution. (that btw is also the main reason for my more recent vegatarian views on life wink.gif ) . As far as I'm aware the mechanism of infection isn't that extensively studied. I'm shure chances are very marginal, but then again, I really don't want to b the 1:10000 when it comes to this . . .

Perhaps some ppl wouldn't mind paying a dollar more for a 'herbal' gelatin base in capsules ? And sleep more soundly smile.gif smile.gif

I know that NOW makes some vegetarian gelatin capsules. I'm not sure what they are made out of. I would recommend looking for those, or just using tablets if you're concerned.

Thanks for the info.
I'll give it a search, if you'd already have a link for me i'd ofcourse greatly appreciate it .

I'd love to do the tablet things, but as I recall tabletting machines don't come cheap. Or maybe I'm just not up to date with current pricing ?
In the case of something like caffeine pre-pressed tablets are fine, but quite some bulk wrapped goods don't seem to come in tablet form. ( or only in outrageously priced packages).

Anyhow, I'll give the capsules a search .

Regards,

A Cap-M-Quik is easy to use and costs like $10. The expensive ones you are talking about do it automatically and are only really useful if you are mass producing.

Hi again ,

Well, after I mentioned the availability of vegetarian capsules to someone at bulk. I received an email stating that the veggie capsules would be added to the collection.
So far , however, didn't see anything yet,

Anyone know how that's coming along ?

regards ,
