Considering the calories, fat and sugars that are typically in most alcoholic beverages, you'd think that they would be "worse" for your body than smoking, which has no nutritional value.

The smoking will damage your lungs and make you lazier, which could affect your body if you let it get to the point where you no longer train because of it, but that's probably it.

What are your thoughts AZFit?

Who said that Tommy?

Pot has plenty of redeeming qualities, IMO. Just flat out fun times, and it doesn't help while bulking either. Hard to eat 6x a day, plus supps, etc without the munchies every now and then!

First of all, Chipotle is the shit. Secondly, FTank, do you have the Volcano Vaporizer?

http://www.storz-bickel.com/en_home.htm

What is the bullet? I've got a hand blender for my shakes, works like a charm.

Nah, its a one-handed vaporizer. VAPIZER or something.. dunno, its a friends.

Magic Bullet? http://www.buythebullet.com/

Put everything you can into a cup-size serving (or whatever size you want to put on it), screw the top on and stick it on the blender. ZINNNNNNNG, done. Unscrew, take the top off and enjoy. cool.gif Its basically a user-friendly blender with minimal cleanup. The cups go in the dishwasher like any other cup.

Alcohol in moderate dosages is actually good for you, especially your heart. I'm just calling him out for making a claim without any eveidence to back it up.

I was referring to recreational doses. Alcohol is liver toxic and has significant negative effect on hormones.

I never disputed that Marijuana has some documented benefits

Thats besides the point of his argument

His statement is making multiple claims

1.) Alcohol consumption in and of itself impairs muscle mass, muscle quality and strength

2.) Marijuana has the same effects

3.) Marijuanas effects on muscle growth, and function are less detrimental than those of Alcohol

No, thats not what I implied at all. It COULD be argued that there is a potential for cannabis consumption to be counterproductive due to hormonal changes, but this argument would be based on outdated, recently refuted, government studies designed to fuel propaganda.

Sleeping could be considered less harmful then sticking your pinky finger in an electric pencil sharpener.

Does this statement infer that sleeping is harmful in the same way as blending your little finger?

Does it imply that sleeping is harmful AT ALL?

Does it refute any claim that sleeping may actually be beneficial?

I think not.
