I noticed that the Piracetam is now back in stock & ordered some yesterday. I also got some Neurostim, which I wanted to try due to all the good reviews its been getting. After ordering I see it has the choline. Will that be enough choline to get the P. to work? I assume they will work ok together. I am just coming off a very bad experience with Rhodelia Rosea.

why? what happent? i got rhodiola too and its a fine replacement for my 2 ton espresso coffee cups.. without the shaking after! it gives me a warm feeling... its nice... i just paused it for a while till i get to cap it cause its quite unbearable to taste.

i also noticed with piracetam that it gets you on track but its not giving you any feeling ythat you may got from a stimulant like cafeine for example... its just like someone hold your head (and thoughts) on the task you are doing... and also sometimes it gives me the feeling that has passed a lot of time but its not.... laugh.gif

i also tryied a little tyrosine... it is very close to the awardness you may get from a half redbull...... :-)

So you're taking rhodiola as a stimulant (replacement for espresso)?

I never understand exactly what adaptogen means or what rhodiola is suppose to do.

For me Rhodiola was terrible. On day 1, had one 500 mg capsule in the evening, felt okay, nothing great nothing awful. On day two, had one capsule in the morning. Then in the afternoon took 2 capsules. That is when the problems started happening. Now, I am a stimulant type of person-- I generally do very well on them. I take 400 mg caffeine daily, I do well on ephedrine (which I don't take now). Okay, so after 2 capsules R. I think I am ok (don't feel any great effects though) but trying to drive home on the highway I freak. Normally there is some kind of innate connection when you are driving so that you don't have to think when to use the accelorator and when to break. Well for me Rhodiola broke that connection. The connection was not there. Thus I panicked. I barely was able to drive home, really slow 50 mph on the freeway. Equally bad, ALSO, Rhodiola slowed down my metabolism. I felt terrible and was constipated within 12 hours. It felt like I was on lithium (don't ask). Took a day and a half for R. to get out of my system and feel normal. I realize that some herbs are good for some and bad for others. I have just tried Bacopa (recommended by another on this forum) and took well to it. Bacopa is Like ephedrine--very deep muscular energy--and lasting 4 hours. Hey guys thanks-- If you are interested I will post my results with Piracetam. sad.gif Have not tried it yet--next weekend to start.

Well, to speak for the Bacopa which I've been using for about 3 weeks-- my experience is thus: For the first few days it was great-- gave a good energy boost and cleared my head quite nicely. I am still using it, however, I think maybe I have developed a tolerance to it since the usual 2 caps does not work like it did the first few days. Now I still take 1 or 2 caps (of Paradise Herbs brand, considered a high quality extract) per day and it helps boost energy at a deep level a slight amount. Also some mechanism in it is working on the sinus area, clearing out the sinus and throat area (strange, but true in my experience), resulting in a "clear" headed feeling. What more could you ask for? Overall very positive. That's my experience with bacopa.

As to piracetam, after attack dose, 1 teaspoon per day. Effects have been minimal if any. However, I know it takes time and maybe my dose needs to be increased. After 3 weeks I may increase dosage.

finally nothing can trully replace a good baked espresso hehe.... although i do reduced the 2xdouble per day dosage of my espressos to half.. but without the usage of rhodiola,
i use one cap at a time of chocamine (more cause me a burning in stomach) and if i need more boost i add two spoons of candburys chocolate.... anyway... i have only once taken so heavy measures.. hehehe...... as of piracetam, i had to stop it for two days to realise what i was getting form it.... man it works! and it kicks ass.. its just is so ambient that you have to cut it to feel dumb again.. hehehe..... it focuses more.. it makes you get into the point of a problem quicker and if its late at night and you still working in fornt of the monitor, get one cap and let it melt in the middle of your throat, it gives an mind like coolness in the throat and it gets almost instandly to the brain, waking it (the brain) and make you start thinking again. hehehe... very funny...

Any update on the findings of piracetam or Rhodiola?

I have my shipment of Piracetam, Phenibut and Rhodiola coming probably tomorrow.

Question: How do I know how to measure- with tesoppn, 1/4 teaspoon, etc..?

Good idea to take them all at once?

Note on Rhodiola Rosea: In retrospect, I realize I definately overdosed on the Rhodiola that day mentioned above. I realize now a regular dose would be 100mg--500 mg per day. Problem was I started on capsules which were capped at 500 mg a piece. The powder you can measure in fraction of teaspoons which would have been a better choice to start with. My advice is to start very low on the Rhodiola Rosea over a period of days, and work up little by little. It spooked me so much that day however I have not taken it since.

I know others will disagree, but IMO, Phenibut is nasty nasty stuff. Beware.

Piracetam is a keeper. I have noticed nice but subtle effects on about once per day about a teaspoon of the powder BN sells. Took a few weeks to notice effects.

The BN containers have equivalent measures on the labels -- e.g. 1/4 teaspoon equals XX mg.

Ahh, good info. Lets say I had a 1/4 teaspoon. Do you measure it off rounded, or flattened out at the top?

I've taken the rhodiola in capsules, at 1% rosavins per 100 mgs. Took 300 mgs. tops. I only started it 5 days ago. It's good- I guess... It could be placebo effect. but, I take it before making phone calls for work- which is generally stressful, and I seem a lot more relaxed.
