Anyone experiencing bloating from protein shakes?

When I mix up protein shakes, many of which include whey protein and egg whites, they get lots of air whipped in with them. This leads to a lot of bloating (distended stomach mad.gif , gas blink.gif , belching sad.gif , etc) over the next few hours. Anyone figured out how to minimize this?

How much protein are you consuming with this protein shake? I notice when I’m consuming an excessive amount of protein I experience these similar symptoms.

I have learned to space my protein out a little more throughout the day for the same total protein amount. It seems to have alleviated much of these symptoms.

Also, if you're introducing a big difference in total daily protein intake, your body might not have had time to adjust.

However, if you have been experiencing this problem for awhile, I would lower my protein intake a little.

If this fixes your problem, then you know where your daily protein intake level should be.

What kind of Protein are you consuming? I am going to go on a limb and say that you may be lacose intolerant,so If I were you I would spend the extra couple bucks and buy 100% whey isoloate(damn near lacose free)...PM me if you want a good brand,that tatses,and mixes great(NO i have nothing to gain by giving you this brand)
