It seems the powder is much cheaper than the tabs here, so how does one dose the powder for oral use?

add 99mls of saline for every gram of Y in a large jar, shake, and dose orally with a baby medicine dropper. 1ml is 10mg.

In my opinion/experience, the extra money for the tabs is worth avoiding the hassle

So, Y HCL is water soluble?

Hello again ,

I'm still not entirely convinced in what liquid I should try to dissolve this material ?

Water or alcohol ?

Anyone tried both ? I tend to favor alcohol due to obvious better shelve life .
But if there's any counter indication , I would be much obliged if someone can mention it . . ..

Best regards,

If you prefer alcohol, the HCL version is soluble "in 400ml alcohol," according to the Merck index. So 1g/400ml alcohol.

If you prefer water, Merck "recommends" 1g/120ml water.

There is no such thing as a 50mg scooper (nor a 10mg scooper). 50mg is a mass measurement, whereas scoops measure volume. The variation of powder densities makes it impossible to make such an item.

Yea, it was the printed version and I believe it was the 10th edition Merck that I read. It had the HCL's solubility listings in a small paragraph after it defined the freebase version. I'll double-check again either today or Monday when I go to the lab, though.

I have no idea what the purpose of the avatar is other than humor cool.gif

I own a miligram scale. That's what I'll be using when mine arrives.

The scale was fairly cheap (<50USD), and it has proven accurate down to a single miligram.

or you could mix it in a transport matrix and use it transdermally
