From a lot of the glutamine peptides products I have seen, the glutamine comes from hydrolyzed wheat gluten. Is this glutamine present in whole wheat as is or when digested? Could someone simply eat whole wheat berries and get the same possible benefits of taking glutamine peptides?

I've never heard of wheat having a lot of glutamine but I have read some articles in soy having high amounts of glutamine
