Will Tribulus be a good choice. I'm 19 and was planning on taking Tribulus with ZMA.

I don't see why it would hurt, but I don't forsee it being very effective either. Fpot66

Take tribulus with avena sativa, or better still, Tonkat Ali. ZMA wont do much unless you have a zinc deficiency.

Ok, first of all, Tribulus stimulates the LH cells in the testis to produce testosterone & has been shown in studies to effect the motility of the sperm cells. You are 19 years old and have enough testosterone in your blood, believe it or not. Tribulus is ment for older men with dwindling test levels or for people coming from a cycle that suppressed the natural test production. i.e. you will waste your money.

agreed with the above... spend your money on protein powders

Well, you never know......not all younger men have testosterone levels soaring through the roof. If that were the case than every teenager who worked out would be built like Doran Yates. When I was 19, my testosterone levels barely reached mid-range, and yes, I was very normal and very healthy.

Having high levels of testosterone in your early years doesnt mean you gonna look like a bodybuilder How does one know if the test is high? Being horny all day long and being able to stustain an erection for ages ... lol. Trust me, even the skinny guy at 19 has more testosterone than a 30 year old male even though the 30 year old might look bigger and more manly.

forget tribulus. just go with zma.

Tribulus is effective at burning a hole in your wallet, but not much else. You'll notice about as much benefit as with old school androstenedione. And, if you really want to do it right, buy it at GNC also.

ever heard of dynadrol? it is said to be a steriod free muscle building compound, to omptimize testostrone by 440%, and helps increase muscle energy.

Ok, I admit I was trying to be little humerous when I said every teen would look like pro body builder if they all had high test levels, but the main point remains, you absolutely can not assume that every teen has high testosterone levels- a lot do, but some don't, and although a particular teen will have higher test levels then HE will have at 30, you can't say that he will have higher test levels that any 30 year old. I seriously doubt that my test levels were higher at 19 than any pro bodybuilders' at 30 [clean or otherwise]. Did I have more testosterone at 19 than I do now at 39? Of course! But to say that I had at 19, more testosterone running through my veins than everyone over 30 just isnt realitic. I firmly believe that a man is his late teens and early 20s can benefit from a natural testosterone supplement, because not all of us had test levels tipping the scales at 1200ng

Regardless of whether you have high or low test levels tribulus shouldn't have any adverse effects (may not have any effects at all) so I suppose it can't hurt to try it. I just ordered some myself, going to try it for the first time (assuming it doesn't sit at customs till it goes bad).

True. Everybodies test levels differ but Tribulus has never been tested on young healthy males since it would most probably have no effect on raising test levels at such an age. Once you hit 25 your levels fall exponetially. Its when the test falls where Tribulus could be effective. I don't know how biased these studies are but check out the following link ... http://www.supplementwatch.com/supatoz/supplement.asp?supplementId=279

Nicholas, if you're really so lucky as to have test levels of 1735ng/nl, then all I can say is you dont need to waste your money on any supplement. Hell, you dont even need protein powder! Martin, interesting read on tribulus. perhaps it wont do much for a healthy young man with *high* test levels.........Hmm.......perhaps we should have Nicholas try it out. If tribulus works on him, it will work on us anyone!!! There is one thing that I read about on the effects of TongKat Ali[Longjack] stating that it will even work in healthy men with higher test levels, however one would need to take much more than a man with below normal test levels for it to work [up to 4 grams a day as opposed to 800 mg.] Now, I've tried Longjack and it did work for me. Blood work showed that my free testosterone doubled. I took 2 grams a day and stacked it with Thermolife brand tribulus. However, I dont know if I would've gotten the same results from Lonkack alone and that trib was a waste of money or not. I'm also going on 40 years old with natural test levels in the lower end of Normal.......would this regimen work on someone half my age with raging testosterone...who knows??

I'm only 24 and I take tribulus products when I cycle off creatine. It make me noticeably more aggressive when I take it preworkout, breaks out my back a bit and gives me a slight increase in libido. I'm a fan. Have taken tribuvar and zforce and liked them both. I am deciding on whether to take tbomb II, vitrix or endotest in about 6 weeks when I cycle off creatine.

I am 18 and I recently took M1T for one week. Then cycled off and took Superdrol. I have been off both for about a week and noticed my sex drive is suprisingly low. I've read that prohormone cycles really take it out of you, but will my test levels eventually come back to normal? If so how long, if not what should I do. I am considering to take Vitrix due to the high volume of positive reviews, would this be a good idea? Get back to me, need help, appreciate all the replies!

dude i hope ur kidding. and if u arent i hope ur penis falls off. PCT look it up man

@19 your money is better spent on protein powders, creatine and anti-oxidants. that's all you really need supplement-wise unless you have $$$ to burn.

to be honest i disagree. Yes money would be better spent on protein, creatine, NO, and of course food. HOWEVER, I have recently been supplementing with Endotest, and I found that to help with over all well being. Which in part would have a significant effect on training. Not only did it help with my over all well being but I feel it is helping break through my plateau.

If you are 19 and you used M1T then your test level after discontinuation would be as low as that of a female. Don't kid yourself, PCT is essential!!!! As to the whole test level issue in young men etc. Yes, some young men have less testosterone in their blood than others, but if there is a balanced HPTA then NO AMOUNT OF TRIBULUS WILL HELP. Stimulation of the Leydig cells is done if you have too little testosterone as far as your natural balance is concerned. If you are in balance, but you have a lower level of test (but still balanced in respect to estrogens etc) then stimulating the Leydig cells will help nothing since (yes in short term it might raise the level a bit) the feedback loop will negate the effects. If you however come off a cycle and your feedback mechanism is busy getting rid of the estrogens and pumping the testosterone, ANY help may it be from Tamoxifen/Clomephen/Tribulus will stimulate the process where Clomid is the most potent and Tribulus most probably the least potent (I stand under correction if someone has heard of a new study about Tribulus) Another thing. Most endurance athletes have a lower testosterone level than normal men and many weight lifters (natural/no roids etc.) have slightly elevated levels. This is how the body compensates for the effects of training so if you are 19 and lift weights you should have an even higher test level than you would have without lifting. Just don't overtrain! This obviously will kill your test level!

there are so many questions being asked by different people. . I think this thread should just be ignored.
Posted by: Recklace Jan 27 2005, 06:07 PM
Are my test levels going to naturally rise back to normal after a few weeks or am I gonna have to boost it up with some Tribulous, etc..? When I do boost it back up to normal is it naturally going to stay once I cycle off of the Tribulous? Thanks for any replies!
Posted by: apocalypse Jan 27 2005, 07:02 PM
Tribulus isnt that expensive, so go ahead and try it dude. It wont hurt you..You dont have to get any fancy tribulus products that claims to make a monster out of you. Just read the labels and compare the prices, I would recommend optimum tribulus, at least it wont drill a whole in your wallet...

recklace, thats all you are. fucking reckless. do you even know how bad M1T is for you? As someone else said (in another thread) it is rat poison with the side effect of muscle hypertrophy. You don't know what PCT is? Youre ridiculous. I swear, people here are so f*n stupid. I think all people as dumb and ignorant and you should be put on an island. Good god man, buy some freakin Nolva, and take it 40mg a day for two weeks. Then your test levels will come back up. Do some research you dumb jackass. Thank god the ban is here and you cant get your hands on anymore legally.

Does anyone think taking tribulus during a M1T cycle would help at all or only PCT? thanks
