Observations:

I wasn't able to add any weight on today, but still the majority of my lower body lifts are up. Pumps are still great, I can't say enough about that. Still get a slightly elevated heart rate. Nothing else new to report.

Day Off

Observations:


Took 8 caps of each this morning around the same time I usually go the gym. Good pumps still. They are definitely not as "intense" though on off days. I also do not really notice the elevated heart rate on off days, so it must be some combination of the supplement and my exertion in the gym. The wife and I will be out of town through Thursday. I will not have access to a computer during this time so I will not be able to post. I will still be lifting though so I will take notes and update days 13-16 on Friday.

Day 13


Observations:

My wife and I began a camping trip today. There is a weight room here at the campsite, but as you can imagine there is not a lot to work with. I went for a run this afternoon and went to the gym. I worked mostly my upper body using nothing but free weights. I felt the accelerated heart rate, especially during my run. The pumps were great again today.

Day 14


Observations:

I started my day by running. Weather was nice and the terrain is rough out here, so I was able to get a good run in. Afterwards I went to the gym here and worked my lower body. There are not any machines for lower body exercises here, so I had to use entirely free weights. I had a good workout and noticed a solid pump in my legs. I am really enjoying this product so far, but I am very curious where the energy and accelerated heart rate comes from.

Observations:

Not much to report today. I took a lazy day and just laid around with my wife. As previously mentioned, the pump is not as good on off days. It is still noticeable though.

Day 16


Observations: It was raining this morning, so I did not run as I had been previously on the trip. I went straight to the gym and worked my upper body. I used all free weights again today. The machines that are in this "gym" make me concerned for my personal safety (I know everyone has seen one like this before) laugh.gif . I did both my standard bench and a close grip bench. My pump in my triceps during this was impressive. Again still I cant say enough about the pumps.

Well the wife and I returned from our short camping trip last night, which sucks. It was nice however to return to my gym today. I did a lower body workout and it felt great. I had to stop earlier than I would have liked because I had a lot of things at work to catch up on. I am up 20 pounds on my deads though!

Observations:


Good pumps again today. I am up on all the lifts in my Upper Body days, which is very encouraging. I am looking to get to more than +10 on as many lifts as I can. I think adding 10 on a lot of these could easily be a placebo effect, so I want to get over that number to show that it is not. I will focus on that next week.

Observations:

Had another good pump today. My weight is pretty consistent with where I started. I am still showing a good strength increase, but haven't really eclipsed 10 pounds more on any specific exercise. Going over 10 pounds on a couple is my goal by the end of this testing period, as this will show it is not a placebo effect.

Had another good pump today. My back started bothering me a little on the deads, so I only did two sets instead of three. It could be the increased weight catching up with me. Everything else went well. I have definately shown more strength increase in my legs than anywhere else.

Observations:

I didn't do my seated fly machine today, just didn't really feel up to it. Everything else went well. I added another 5 pounds on the bench tonight. Not much, but every little bit counts. I got about five reps a set out at the higher weight. Good pumps again today. Definitely the pumps are the best part about this product. The strength increase and energy have been pretty normal, but the pumps are the saving grace.

I've been trying to push it as much as I can. Maybe my last couple days I will go high weight/low rep and see how much I can do.

Observations:

I was able to add another 10 pounds onto my decline leg press. However I needed to drop 5 pounds off my Outer Hip Abductor. For some reason I kept cramping when trying to do my normal weight. Everything else was normal. My lower body lifts have shown the most strength improvement.
