Cool thanks. I saw a write-up over at cnw. Also I noticed that the product suggestions says the suggested time frame is for 6weeks, then cycle off for 2-3wks. Can you elaborate why so if it isn't as strong a tricana?

Week ending data and results:

WT: 221.0, -1
BF%: Same results as last week. The guy in the mirror is looking better. My % was 15.4%, not like that matters because it has been FUBAR'd from the beginning dry.gif .


Note: I didn't do more cardio like I thought, unless you count the light weights/more reps/slower pace type of workout being a form of cardio than what I was doing. Either way, I liked it no matter what. It was a good change and I had plenty of energy to do it.

My thoughts on the stack are still the same. There may be repartioning going on since the changes in weight hasn't happened, but there is a visual difference. Still no sides to report.

Increased T3 leads to increase in protein due to accelerated turnover. There
are dozens of studies on this and quite a few threads on Avant. I'd find them for you but the search at avant is acting up again.

That is why I was thinking the repartioning was happening. So if I increase my protein intake, I am assuming it will increase anabolism.

I would say yes about that, but then again, I would imagine that the increase in protein synthesis is only so much, so adding more protein wont necessarily equate to more anabolism. Its hard to say.....damn, i dunno blink.gif i think part of my brain just exploded

yeah, I wasn't thinking about maxing out on steaks or anything, but rather increase a protein drink or bcaa spoonful or two.

evening- Worked out at home and did power aerobics/conditioning tonight. Its basically step aerobics with power lunges, squats jumps, and other explosive moves. I also combine it with different types of MA moves. By the time your finished, you can't hardly move, especially your legs. I know I am going to be hurting in the morning because it has been a while since I did it.

Workouts:

morning- nothing

evening- Combined Mondays wieght workout with tonight and did some light cardio afterwards. I think the Stizm keeps me focused to continue.

Note: I am noticing a bit more definition in my upper body. It looks like I have a few more days left of product testing even though I measured it out for 30 days. I am not sure how that happened. I either messed up on some days taking the dosages, or they put more product in there than what it says on the bottle. I could see messing up one or two tablets thinking I took them when I didn't, but not for that extra amount, which leads me to believe there were more in the bottle. I hate it when that happens. smile.gif

Day 30: Wednesday

Dosages: normal.


Workouts:

morning- nothing, saved the cardio for nighttime.

evening- Combined some of the normal tuesdays workout with tonights. Also did an extra 20 mins on the treadmill. I wasn't tired and could have done more. My wrists really pisses me off though since it is keeping me from going heavy on some exercises. I also got my squats back up since my surgery. I had plenty of extra to go but without a spotter, I don't want to push it too much. Although I will probably try more the next time by adding 50lbs or so. LOL I feel like I am still favoring my hurt knee a little and letting my good leg do most of the work.

WT: 222.8, +.8 basically stayed the same to me.
BF%: took three different measurements with the average being 13.3


Final Log statistics:

Beginning:
Body WT: 223
BF%: I guess about 20%.....
Body Fat WT: 223 x .20 = 44.6
LBM: 178.4


Ending:
Body WT: 222.8
BF%: 13.3
Body Fat WT: 222.8 x .133 = 29.6
LBM: 193.2


Differences:
Body WT: - 1/2 lb
BF%: -6.7
Body Fat WT: -15
LBM: +14.8


Types of Workouts:
mornings: not a lot
evenings: most
cardio: not a lot, but did increase from what I normally do via different types of workouts and increase of daily activity.
weight training: Most. At one point I changed from heavy weights to lighter weights with an increase in speed due to a wrist injury and time. It provided more cardio since I missed morning workouts.



OK, this is what the data said. However, I stated earlier that I felt I probably didn't take my beginning BF% correctly, even though it seemed like it was correct. Therefore, I will let you make a judgement call on what you think about the results, although I find it very very difficult to believe I gained 14.8 lbs of LBM while cutting. I do think that I have toned up quite a bit and did see points where my body seemed tighter and more defined. Now what I was hoping for was that my waist size would get cut to shreds... LOL. Don't we all wish that!

Realistically, I can't say that the supps didn't do what I wanted since I know that cutting up is diet and training related. I was hoping that they would give me an extra bonus. Overall, I think they did. I did get some nice comments throughout the testing phase from various people on my overall changes.

According to my beginning statement and theory, I said I gain muscle easily, difficult to loose weight, and based off of the diet and training only I was doing, I should loose 8-10 lbs and with taking the boost, I hoped to loose 20 lbs. I know that I was exagerrating a tad bit, but if your not pushing your goals out of reach a little, you won't work harder for it. Since I didn't loose the 8-10 lbs I thought I should alone, then I can't hold the stacks to any higher level.

I think these supps should be great for someone with a low bf% already and wanting to tighten up a little more. I don't think that these are for people wanting to loose a lot of bodyfat. Diet and training regiments will never be replaced for making that happen. Even though I believe I was eating below maintanence and following a good routine, I believe I obviously wasn't pushing hard enough in the cardio area.

Overall thoughts:
Dicana: Good for people with low BF% wanting to tighten/tone up. I would buy it.
Stizm: Great product for providing focus and energy when needed. I would buy it.


Finally, I want to thank Thermolife with the ability to test this product honestly and fairly. Not once did I get any PM's to talk better about the product, not to say certain things, or to hype it up in any way to give false information to help the product sell. The reps at ThermoLife are top notch with help and advise during this testing. If I get the chance to test out more of their products, I would be glad to assist in any way possible.
