no, lean xtreme is far better at cortisol blocking.
Thanks, Stallion, glad to hear from you I noticed you had some issues in your thread regarding this problem, how did that work out ?

poison Posted on Aug 15 2005, 02:12 PM I highly recommend BLAZE. Cheap and effective, and a higher dose than most. Are we tallking same ingredients ? Same quality ? Who makes it ?

Same basic ingredient, slightly tweaked to give a longer half-life. It is made by SAN. It is 100mg per cap, not 50. I've used 3 bottles. I've never dieted while on it, but I gain mass and hardness while on it (apparently from an elevation in T3, very anabolic).

So you were using Blaze during a bulking cycle or how exactly? Also, where you using this in conjunction with an EC stack or any thermogenic products?

So would you say that, since it is anabolic in nature, maybe not a good PCT product but excellent anti-cortisol ?

Lawn, I am glad to have hit on a topic that interests you but please lets keep this thread to cortisol inhibitors.... These other questions are for a different post......yours maybe?

7-Keto-DHEA is one of the best blockers for cortisol synthesis in adrenal cortex tissue. It is the primary active ingredient in Lean Extreme. You can also buy the compound pure, in a tablet form (cheaper). DHEA has the OPPOSITE effect. It is within the pathway for cortisol synthesis in adrenal tissue. Therefore, if you have sufficient stress induction, cortisol may be produced from exogenous DHEA (supps). Yet, it is an anabolic compound. More importantly, it can help increase muscle fiber repair, necesessary for growth, by limiting inflammation (prostanoid biosynthesis is partially regulated by corticosteroids). Other suggs that work: phosphatidylserine (PS) and Rhodiola rosea. The latter should be taken no longer than 3-4 months in a cycle, then ceased for 1 month before restarting use.

I've been taking the 7-Keto like you suggested, is cortisol blocking its primary function? The reason I am asking is I'm running out, and I have been seeing great results from all the supps I've been taking but since I started them all at once, not sure if any are just not doing anything for me.

I get into these predicaments now and then, buy too much variety, things go well, then I don't know which ones to eliminate (or stay with). Try to determine what it is that you are experiencing from this particular regime of supplements that pleases you , then eliminate one at a time those that do not indicate those results as a benefit . But do it one at a time with time to allow for a self diagnosis as to effect if any. Good luck

I used Blaze while bulking, based on StrategoS (IIRC) input that Lean Extreme is good for cutting AND bulking. He said that boosting T3 is anabolic. That was my interest in it. I've put two co-workers on it since. One (55yo guy, relatively fit) lost an inch from his waist (34 to 33) without changing his normal diet. He saw no muscle gain while on it, though no loss. The other guy is taking it now. Basically it is effective, and cheaper per mg than the competing products. BTW, I also noticed some joint creakiness, or 'snap-crackle-pop' effect while on it. Indicative of low cortisol. That was at 200mg per day.

As far as I was informed, T3 was pretty catabolic, which is why most people use a mild AAS when using T3 (exogenous) for a cut.
