After seeing a lot of feedback, especially on Avant's forums from people like Dante and others, I decided to try BAC's Chocamine. I've always dealt with anxiety, more social than not, but I still get very anxious and nervous very easily in just about any situation. I've got some serious cortisol-induced fat deposition from the stress from it (even though DNP and Lipoderm Ultra are my new best friends in this regard). I originally tried it to help out with this anxiety and the depression that sometimes follows. At 1000mg 2-3x a day, this stuff is fantastic. When using it, I feel much more at ease and in an overall good mood. If I take it with water, it seems to "hit" a little bit sooner with respect to the slight euphoric feeling. If I take it with milk, it's more of a smooth happy buzz. This is a lot coming from me because I'm one of the types that NOTHING works for. Taste and mixability leave a little something to be desired, but it's not a big deal. It's a little bitter, but I can see myself getting used to the taste. It doesn't completely mix so there's a little grittiness a la creatine at the bottom. I won't post a link to it, but if there are those of you that are familiar with chocamine and have been thinking about trying it, I strongly urge you to do so. Maybe if we bug Mike enough, he'll get some in

What are the ingredients? I would assume methylxanthines. I'm presently researching theobromine, so far it seems like it doesn't have advantage over caffeine.

The site isn't too descriptive except to say that it has theobromine (12%), caffeine (8%), and either "proprietary" amounts or 8% of PEA and theophylline. I'm iffy on the PEA because I had read it wasn't very orally bioavailable at all, but whatever it is seems to work. I'm unsure if these are the main active ingredients or if there are more at work that they didn't want to say or didn't know too much about themselves.

I will have to second Chocamine. As a pre-workout, or mood booster its great. WIth 500mg or 1 gram of ALCAR and I am flying. Seems to be a lot more effective then straight caffeine (in terms of mg per mg of total caffeine content).

Just wanted to give an update on this -- I know chocamine or chocolate in general either contains phenylethylamine (PEA) or contains precursors to it, and for those that don't know, that's the "love chemical," or the chemical responsible for how we feel when we're in love. That's a very horrible explanation, but if you don't like it, then uhh... Anyway, whenever I feel very strongly about a girl, I tend to get very anxious and lose my appetite. The loss of appetite is usually welcome, but the anxiety isn't. This stuff produces this exact same effect. It's a wonderful appetite suppressant; I could probably take 4-5g spread out over a day and eat as little as I do on Leptigen. However, I can't really deal with the anxiety as much; my social anxiety can get bad enough. It's really not as much of a mental anxiety though as it is purely physical. If you've taken too much yohimbe before (not Yo HCl, but herbal) then you probably know what I'm talking about. I don't know if this is just the stimulatory nature of the stuff overstimulating me and I'm illogically associating the feeling I get with the "love feeling," and associating that with how I get when I like a chick...but whatever it is, it's not always pleasant. Boners are definitely up (pun intended) So the sexual stimulant part is definitely working for me. The only problem is that I have no woman, but that's mainly due to the fact that I have zero game (what can I say, I'm a nerd...). But if I DID, then I'd be zealously and earnestly laying the proverbial pipe. Overall, I will continue to use it for its thermogenic effects, appetite suppression, and mood elevation. I'll work on the anxiety part; maybe taking it with a fatty food to slow absorption to see if that helps. I'll update it if I can ever figure out how to get around this. I still highly recommend it.

Kow, have u looked into Ergopharms Gabatropin? Really does the trick for me in terms of social anxiety, etc.... and makes a nice adjunct to alcohol. In terms of relieving anxiety, especially of the social nature, nothing will ever be able to replace the original product that allowed GABA to freely and easily pass the BBB, taken off the supp market in 1990 ....but that is just my opinion

right, as does phenibut, I was referring to GHB, to be more clear. I think that is why the original hype with gabatropin was so high, people hoping it to illicit some of the same feelings as G....alas, not quite. Tranquli-G also had a lot of anxious testers, and most, were dissapointed. I think that out govt, especially as of late, fishes for reasons to take things off the market without looking into potential positives and real science (i.em concentrating on 1 neg, as opposed to 10 positives)...but I am digressing, and I should not get started.....

Chocamine is really good stuff, and combines wonderfully with DLPA. Max - I recommend stacking GABAtropin with Tranquili-g. It works great for me.

If you do a search, you might be able to find some of these floating around. It is, however, not made anymore.

Yes. Although if you are overly sensitive to caffeine, you might have to taper your caffeine dosage down in the E/C stack somewhat (if you combining separate ingredients).
