I've been taking peptide bonded glutamine powder for awhile now and cannot seem to find a decent way to choke the stuff down. I've tried mixing it with protein powder, orange juice, chocolate milk... you name it I've tried it. Lately I have just been spooning it into my mouth, chasing it with water, then immediately downing some soda, followed by a breath mint. Stuff smells and taskes like vomit. Anyone have any suggestions?

The best solution is to stop using it. This debate will likely go on until the end of time, but it seems that just a good combination of protein and carbs will provide nearly the same benefits at a much lower cost and without the damage to your tastebuds. I'm sure David will chime in his thoughts. http://forum.avantlabs.com/?act=ST&f=25&t=9073&hl=glutamine

I think you should try a new brand of L-glutamine. I don't know what kind you have but I don't have any problems downing spoonfulls of overpriced GNC L-glutamine followed with water. It doesn't taste like anything.

Have you tried mixing it in sugar-free Koolaid? I know some of us probably seem like a broken record recommending it, but it really does mask the flavor of almost anything (except piracetam

Based on studies I’ve read on supplementing your diet with L-Glutamine, it has proved to be of little benefit for muscle hypertrophy. I’d buy a good whey and milk protein instead. The gross flavor you taste is the L-glutamine. It’s nasty and I can’t endure more than 5 grams added to a protein shake. If you do want to add glutamine to your regimen, look for a covalent-bonded glutamine source. It’s a bit pricier, but the body absorbs much more of it (and your intestines suck away less for their use) and it’s tastes OK.
